Sorry MV I can't help either, I can't remember my DD's movements towards the end. Bubs can become unengaged though so maybe this is what is happening? Hopefully not and things will start happening soon for you."That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0

At the end of the day, you are the one giving birth in your home, so you decide who you want to stay and when. Let us know how it goes. My sister is having a similar drama with our parents, but she has the space at home. I'm dreading the same drama when it's my time - but I'll see what happens with my sister first :rotfl:
It'll be ok I guess. I don't really mind, as bad as it sounds, that my dad is upset. He acts so much like a bratty toddler sometimes that it's inevitable. I just feel really bad that I know he'll be taking it out on my mum, and it's not her fault at all. I am booking her train ticket tonight though, so tough. He will have to look after himself for a few days, and hopefully we can do some nice things with Mum while she's here. It will be the first time ever in my life I've spent any time with just my mother, how strange is that? It's just how they are, they always come as a package - or at least, Mum doesn't get to do anything on her own
The only problem might be that my little bro lives about an hour away (parents are 5 hours away), so he might end up with a sulky monster camped in his spare room for weeks :rotfl: I might have to warn him!
Beakatron - congratulations, hope you can take Callum home soon so the rest of the family can meet him, and you can get yourselves settled into life with him. I think you're the first to have queue-jumped past me, not sure if I'm envious or a bit scared :rotfl:
Actually, I'm feeling pretty ready this time, everything's booked and organised after a mammoth effort this week, and I'm even feeling calm about the whole giving birth part - just looking forward to meeting our little lady in less than 6 weeks, it's a nice feeling.
In the meantime, I'm trying to make the most of every minute I get to concentrate on time with DS, and the rare moments I get to spend with OH, not to mention every time I get to wee or shower alone!
I am trying to resist making new covers for our moses basket - I'd forgotten how !!!!!! the ones on it are - but there are so many more important things I should be spending my time on :rotfl:0 -
Congrats to Beakatron and Tigerlee
MV - my BFs LO (5lb2) was spinning even during labour, which is quite weird. my DD was a wriggler until she arrived, and I had alot of big movements but she was a big strong baby (10lb3). To be honest pregnancy is so varied that I doubt anyone will be able to give you a clear answer. I like to think that towards the end if they are a wriggler they are just trying to work out what exactly their arms and legs are and what they do.
RLT - I am buying these.
I had an excercise ball but think it died. I would really like another one but dont feel it is safe as DD is a bit too kamikaze for us to have it in the front room which is where I'd want to use it.
Freebies - cant remember who was asking but there is full info on the first page on all freebies, as far as I am aware.
I am sure I meant to post about something else too...... but cannot for the life of me remember what it was lol.

We also have a house that is mid rennovation which obviously Id like to get as much done before ds2 arrives. Do you know what your having yet nikki? xI, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.
