Random question... I am after a birthing ball... is this just the same as an exercise ball? And should I look for a certain size or doesnt it really matter?

Also... thinking of starting on Raspberry Leaf Tea, can anyone recommend somewhere I can buy this online (I am overseas so cant nip to the UK shops)? And when would you recommend starting to take it?

Another thing I am after is a nursing/maternity pillow, so any recommendations of good deals on one would be fab!?!

    Thanks in advance :)

Yes, you can jjust use a normal exercise ball, mine is finally going to come in handy for something :p

Maternity pillow - I got mine from Lidl last year sometime, didn't pay a lot for it, about a tenner I think - but again if you're overseas thats not going to be much help either!!!

I was wondering about the Raspberry Leaf Tea, had a look at Morrisons for some yesterday, but couldn't see any, is it specialist shops only???

Congrats Eco, bet your OH is well happy!!!

I've got my first load of bubs clothes in, getting excited now - just 39 days to go - getting scared too

I got mine in Holland & Barratt last time. Haven't seen it in supermarkets but then I haven't started looking yet.

I got mine from Bid tv LOL! We can't get that channel here now but i noticed both Tesco and Asda do them on line. I would prefer to see them first so not sure what i will do this time, I suppose i could send them back if they are not suitable. They are probably much and such the same though.

Teenie - thanks, will have a look on Tesco and Asda websites and see what I find. I really dont want to spend the €50 I have seen in the shops round here, so online will be my best bet!

    Congrats Beakatron :j

You have just put me in a panic though as you were due same date as me. We have nothing ready - still need to wash all the hand-me-down clothes, decorate the bedroom (no really, we do - needs electrics doing, some replastering, painting/papering, carpet curtains, the lot). No bags packed.

I got my raspberry leaf tea from a health food shop (Julian Graves) but I need to ask my MW before I take it due to fibroids and suspected endometriosis. Grrrr.

Might treat myself to a birthing ball if I can find one in the sale. Anything to avoid an epidural.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:PMSL I thought of you when Beakatron announced her little bundle. I knew you would start carping yourself:D Sorry not being mean :o

Actually it has got me thinking I am intending giving up work on the 8th April meaning that I will finish 2 weeks before EDD......just hope bubs comes on time or later (as expected!) wouldn't want [STRIKE]some [/STRIKE] any of the blokes at work assisting me with delivery

  • quick question for ladies who have had babies already..

In the last couple of days mine has been going nuts. He's engaged now so it's not so much kicking I'm feeling, but more massive shifts that make my bump go completely weird shapes and can sometimes take my breath away a bit!

Could this mean that he may put in an appearance soon??

I'm due in 9 days so it's nearly the end anyway (unless he's late of course!), but was just wondering if this massive shifting I'm feeling may be that he is coming sooner rather than later....
