Yes they are iron sulphate tablets apparently they are the most commonly prescribed ones in pregnancy.
Thanks for the tips had heard that taking them can cause constipation so am trying to combat that as much as I can as have suffered a bit with that anyway throughout the past few months. Not liking the sound of the green poo :eek:gratefulforhelp wrote: »Any ideas how long to get HIP paid, please?
I had my midwife appointment on 7th December and she gave me the form that day, I posted off it off the following day and the money went into my account yesterday so about 2 weeks
They've decided to close our school because of the weather for the rest of the week so I've finished work unexpectedly earlyJust as well as I haven't wrapped any presents yet

If you haven't got my pm I'll resend it in the morning from my pc xx

My OH has flu and a chest infection, he is on anti-biotics and Tamiflu, his GP regestered me as a emergency patient and gave me a flu jab and a low dose of Tamiflu for 10 days.
Must admit, im feeling like utter sh*t at the moment0 -

Iwcus78 - you do need to get the flu vaccine each year. Even the swine flu virus changes over the year so you won't get full protection from last year's dose.
Had given up on having the baby before Christmas but now getting quite strong regular contractions. Can't have been the curry I made for dinner- it was barely hot at all. However, not going to get too excited as this happened a couple of weeks ago and turned out to be false labour pains.
Sleep well everyone!0 -
MV - No health professional has contacted me about the flu jab but after reading about it everywhere I phone up my GP yesterday to book in for tomorrow. At first they didn't have any appts before Xmas but they squeezed me in ok. I am a little peeved as every year they write to me due to my asthma to remind me to get the seasonal flu jab - and this year I'm pregnant and still have asthma and nada!!
But yes, you should get it done.
Lwcus - (((Hugs))) - sorry today was not good news. I hope you don't have to stay in over Christmas. When you see them Friday could you maybe compromise and go in on Boxing Day and take it extra easy on Xmas Day?
Teenie - I hope everything is ok. I'm missing my List buddy
Gah, not looking forward to tomorrow. I need to get up extra special early tomorrow to go to Sainsbugs to do my Xmas food shop. Then it's an appt with DH's accountant to sort out his tax return - *yawn* , and then flu jab. At least I can relax on Xmas Eve
Good night lovely ladies x0 -

Oooh I was just thinking about you! Fingers crossed this is it, and if it is, watch out for Channel 4 cameras at the end of your delivery bed!
