    Hello ladies

Sorry, haven't had a chance to read back properly.

Can I ask a question - I have two moses baskets from Freecycle but it's only just occured to me from scanning through the thread that I might need new mattresses for them? I knew I would for the cot but the moses basket escaped my brain for some reason! Will I?

    Stupid question here.
I get paid a monthly wage with the nhs.
On maternity leave everything is in weeks (ie 8 weeks at full pay, 18 weeks half pay +smp etc). Does that mean in a 5 week month i will get a higher amount that wage?

Yes you are supposed to get a new mattress. Which i find very frustrating. :)

  • I know that she's 7 months pregnant, and liable to be hormonal, but is there anyone else who's finding Helen (the Archers) to be rather annoying with her outbursts. Makes me worry that people will think that all pregnant women are that unreasonable.

  • Well yes, but there's no need to let men in on it until it's too late is there ;)

  • Hi all! I've been a-lurking but no time to post properly and catch up....

I've been wanting to say that I'm totally with whoever suggested ages ago wearing incontinence pads for convenience sake. My bladder is the size of a peanut, I feel the need to go most of the time and sometimes can produce up to a thimble-full of pee!

About pregnancy worries..I had an mc last year, but now I'm past that stage, so I find new things to worry about. I was thinking that in a few years I'll be worrying about Mr Wriggly staying out late with his friends, or when I'm 80 that he's having a mid-life crisis etc etc.

One of my current worries is that if he doesn't move much, he's gotten tangled in the umbilical cord. If he moves a lot I also worry that it's because he got tangled in the umbilical cord....:o

I also get paid monthly and I assumed I would get paid pro-rata (not sure if that is the right term).

So I get 6 weeks at 90% so would get Januarys pay at 90% then February's pay would be some at 90% (just under 2 weeks) and then the rest at SMP.
