I do try and remember to do my exercises. It's just when I see Ticklepenny's posts that I remember. I think I may up with a Pavlovs dogs type of training....I see ticklepenny and I automatically do my PVE's
:D[/SIZE]
As long as it helpsI am paranoid about pelvic floor muscles after speaking to a mates mum when I was 17. I have been doing pelvic floor excercises on and off since then, but find it hard to remember daily, so if I try and remind people everytime I'm on here then I remember to do them myself lol.:o

2girlsforme wrote: »thanks for that info Teenie & Grateful - I had the drip with DD1, because waters had broken and no contractions followed - about 48 hours later - and like Grateful I didn't find the drip too bad. DD2 came herself 10 days late - but was large and got stuck. I am not sure what the consultant is going to think, but if baby is not too big at 36 week scan then I am hoping to persuade them to induce me early to try a natural delivery - rather than be left till 39 weeks and have to have a section. That of course is all baby size dependent, because of the last delivery there is no way I would be allowed to have the baby naturally if it is big - way too risky. I just really want a section to be the last option!
I should have said that while talking it through with my midwife she did say that if I have to be induced it should be easier this time as my body now knows what it should be doing and that your cervix doesn't totally close so already I would be in a better position.
I probably have a totally irrational fear of it and I kind of need to forget about what happenend and be prepared for any kind of scenario with this pregnancy. At the end of the day, sitting in hopsital for a week isn't the worst thing that could have happened
2girls in your situation I can totally understand why you would want to be induced. Fingers crossed neither of us need it"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -

well ALL my bits inside and out must have been well and truly stretched with DD2 - and probably never returned to anywhere near normal - so thinking a good sneeze will get this one out :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I am planning on starting the raspberry leaf tea - very soon - as soon as I can get into town to buy it! Certainly didn't start me early the last time but I definitely think it speeded everything up :T

:rotfl::rotfl:LOL yeah they never seem to feel the same again do they......I love this thread, it's not something I would generally discuss with just anyone!
Raspberry leaf tea for me too, like you said it doesn't get things going but I honestly believe it made my labour relatively easy."That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
Hi 2girlsforme, gosh your 2nd was big! Dont blame you for wanting to go early. However, can I just point out one thing that you might want to consider/discuss with mw.The digestive tract doesn't develop until 36th week. My little boy was early, and he has suffered terrible problems with regards to a immature digestive tract. He was 32 weeks, but due to his reflux I found an amazing support group and many of the babies there were born 36 weeks and had bad reflux. Saying this, the vast majority born 36 weeks are healthy.
Its difficult isn't it as you probalbly dont know what to do for best and now i've come and given my 2 pence worth. Sorry if I have confused matters or if this is not what you wanted to hear. However, I wouldn't have forgiven myself if yuor little one suffered like mine has.
ps, I think i've read somewhere that reaspberry leaf doesn't induce labour, it just makes the labour shorter. Look up evening primrose oil, I think that induces labour.

That list sounds good Dusty, if it is just for coming home. I haven't thought about it much yet, but I expect I will have 5 or 6 sleepsuits and bodysuits for baby in hospital, then similar to you for leaving outfit (although hoping won't be in hospital for long but never know).
Love the pram suit, v cute. Think you will need a hat though as hood won't tuck in tight around bubs head (in case of a breeze). If you know anyone who knits OH's gran has made us a few of these and they are v cute, also got one in teh huggies newborn pack.
I think in some ways team yellow is good as sometimes they get it wrong - that's why I'm buying very little boy specific stuff.
Yeah this is the coming home outfit. We have other stuff toobut I am seriously having to reign myself in now
FairyShazza wrote: »I love the pram suit Dusty but I absolutely refuse to pay £18 for something that may only get worn a handful of times. Personally I think M & P clothes are horrendously overpriced - I almost had a cardiac arrest when we went there yesterday looking at some of them
I agree abou tthe prices but this is the reduced one and I have a £5 gift card so will only be £13. Plus I intend to use it when out and about so will get a 0-3 months. And I think I should splash out on it's first outfit. This is the only clothing i'll be gettin from m+p tho. Supermarkets all the way for me.
Sammy_Girl wrote: »Dusty - I feel the same as you. Because of the time of year, it's hard to know what the weather will be like, so I guess be prepared for all eventualities! I have mostly sleepsuits, but also have a couple of those soft velour type dungaree sets - so they are comfy for baby without being stiff like denim or cord. I love the pramsuit you posted - very nice
Lovely suits Sammy. It would be easier if we know what team we are on but I think I'll get a pink and blue sleepsuit and whatever it isn't I can take back or give away as a gift to one of my 8 friends who are also pregnant0 -
On the subject of raspberry leaf tea, I am planning on using the tablets as I dont do tea of any sort. I have found these and its the cheapest I have found so far.
