I wish we had a downstairs toilet
I have been running up and down the stairs all day bump must be tap dancing on my bladder! doesnt help that I have drunk loads fo fluids today to flush the evil lurgy out!
Ds1's potty is looking more and more useful :P
LOL when I was pregnant with DD towards the end I was forever running back and forward to the loo and it was literally just a dribble, I did say to DH that I was going to buy some incontinence pants and use them....I have to say I was only half joking!
Just remembered my dream last night, I had a baby girl and she was 15lb :eek:"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
My colleague in work is bridesmaid today for her friend. There's about 5 inches of snow here!
Just another question, I normally have my hair highlighted which my hairdresser tells me is ok as the dye does not actually touch your scalp to be absorbed into your skin. However, I fancy going dark but I would think that the dye would need to go all over and therefore touch your scalp and so be absorbed?Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -
I looked into this quite thoroughly Ice as I was a bit worried. I waited until after I was 12 weeks and have dyed my hair once (it will need done again) I asked my hairdresser friends and they said there is no evidence that it affects bubs but they agreed to wait until after 12 weeks too.
It's nearly impossible to do an all over dye without it touching your scalp and in my case my ears, my neck, my face etc etc"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
Blimey teenie!!! Hope that's all it turns out to be, just a dream!!
Oh I'm gonna make myself look even worse here... After my Strepsil confession the other day... When I was pregnant with Moo, I had a different hair colour practically every week, bleaching in between. Fast forward to now and I've been red-haired for quite a few years but I'm sick of the hassle of doing my roots every few weeks so on Tuesday I dyed my hair black. So for me personally, hair dye isn't something I would/have stopped, but I know many people don't think it is safe. Like everything though, there's studies into it that aren't very conclusive and it's down to personal preference really. I know it's considered 'safer' to have done at a hairdressers though, if that's any help? All horses deserve, at least once in their lives, to be loved by a little girl.

Thanks teenie and cutterby, I have a hairdressers appointment tomorrow. I have been blonde for 21 years so going dark (if I decide to do it) will be a big change!
I'm naturally a not very exciting shade of mousey blonde/brown!Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -

I was thinking earlier about buying some how bad is that!!! but since ds1 (and his 9lb 6 weight) it would appear this pregnancy whilst sneezing etc im having some real trouble!!! Better start serious pelvic floors otherwise my water birth will be less water more wee :rotfl:
thats like a dream and a bit of a nightmare in one! hopefully yours will be much smaller for your own sake lol.I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

Congrats Snugglepants - what a lovely size - I can only dream of having a wee toot like that! mine probably weighs not far off that now at 34 weeks :eek:I think your birth plan is going to be like yours, go with the flow as long as bubs and myself are safe. My only stipulation so far is not being induced early as happened the last time but constultant has already agreed to that. Oh and just gas and air and TENS for pain relief.
Teenie can I ask what happened to you when you don't want to be induced early? I ask because due to my DD2's birthweight I was hoping to persuade them to induce me early (if its not too large at 36 week growth scan) rather than leave me till 39 weeks and then have to have a c-section. I feel that I would rather have an early delivery of a 'normal' size baby rather than a c-section, although I do know that there is more risk of intervention being required after induction.
I live in Inverness, although originally am from the fastest town in the east - half way between Elgin and Inverness- if you need a weather update tomorrow feel free to PM me.
Nic - what a fright you must have got with your DD, hopefully it is just a case of the sudden temperature difference to her body.
Right better go - I havea brave friend who is having DD2 for a sleep over tonight -and I haven't packed her bag yet!
Later ladies xxDD1 - May 02 8lbs 6oz
DD2 - June 05 10lbs 6oz
DD3 - 24th Jan 11 7lbs 9oz

.
My DD was the same weight and I have the same problem. It's worse if I'm being sick as the force is stronger (I have been caught out a couple of times and had to change)
I do try and remember to do my exercises. It's just when I see Ticklepenny's posts that I remember. I think I may up with a Pavlovs dogs type of training....I see ticklepenny and I automatically do my PVE's:D
