My nickname from DH is 'Moo' :rotfl:

Lily is 'Bear' but she responds to Bear more than Lily so we have to call her Lily more now hehe.

    Aww Cutterby, 1 day out!

I doubt if my MW will change (lie) my due date by a whole week. Such a shame yours won't do it for a mere day.
    Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j

Krystal did you go to docs and how are your pains?
I didn't since DD1 struck me down with her lurgy and I've spent the last 2 days feeling like death warmed over... I'll wait and see if it happens again before I see a Dr

(ooh, on that topic, how would you feel if you'd just given birth, hadn't had chance to tell anyone yet but when you do get on FB and start texting people, your sister-in-law had already announced your news? I'd be fuming I think, cos it's our news to tell, not hers! Fair enough if she'd asked could she tell people and if you'd not been able to get online, but she hadn't asked and this was within hours of the birth - tiny bit thunder stealing or am I a bit harsh?)

    Big squeezy hugs :p xxx
I would be terribly miffed if she were ringing up family members etc... But if I had told all the important people and she just posted a "congratulations" on my facebook I wouldn't be so bothered...

On the subject of weight my midwife hasn’t weighed me at all since my booking in appointment, the only time I have been weighed was at my 12 week scan. I have been keeping an eye on my weight though as I started off overweight and must admit I am worried about being left with loads of additional weight to lose after the baby comes :( so far I have put on a stone (am 26 ½ weeks now) and according to an online pregnancy weight gain calculator I use I am spot on for where I should be so that makes me feel (relatively) better. Although I am starting to feel very weeble like and worry about how big I will be in another 12 – 14 weeks!
They don't weigh you again until the end... Although I'm thinking of telling the midwife to jog on if she asks me to get on the scales again... BMI measurements are unreliable at best, I don't see how having a small person growing inside you is going to even the odds...

Charlie, glad to hear they got back to you in the end! And phew for the results :)

Well, I missed the docs call but temp has come down to 37.something at last check. Am going to put oven on for some m&s fresh chips for my lunch to see if that helps. 2 more paracetamol too with my lunch so that should help as head is stinking heavy.
This is how I was Monday/Tuesday... Barely slept all night, felt absolutely rotten... Dr rang me up and prescribed antibiotics over the phone... I was a bit sceptical because I figured it was flu, but they seem to be doing some good because I don't feel quite so close to death as I did yesterday... Ribs are killing me though from all the coughing!

And WRT the flu jab... Nobody has mentioned it to me at all so far, and then Hubby rang to book his flu jab in (he had a lung operation a few years ago so it's quite important he gets one) and he asked if he could book his pregnant wife in... Oh no, receptionist wouldn't let him because it's up to the midwife during antenatal clinic!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Am i ok to be taking paracetomal every day? I keep getting horrible headaches daily and its driving me crazy.

I didn't get it with Lily so im unsure :(

Maybe check the headaches out with the m/w, can be a sign of high BP, though prob something really simple like dehydration.

OK I think I have worked it out

I'm 22 weeks on tomorrow which is the 16th
So I will be 23 weeks on 23rd
    And 24 weeks on 30th

So I miss it by a whole 6 days as you have to be 25 weeks by 01/01

    Typical!

My m/w was clueless and wouldn't have given me the form if I hadn't asked for it.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

I miss it by mere days!!! My due date is 16th April going by the scan, which makes me one day out, but 18th going off last period, so that's my due date, which is 3 days out. I turn 25 weeks on the 1st January, which means I'm 1 day too late - confused yet? I am!! Some midwives are signing the form anyway, so I've read somewhere - ours won't so it depends how lucky you are if yours will - worth asking though - I feigned ignorance and said "I've been told to ask about some pregnancy grant" - rather than asking straight out. I've already told hubs off - well he could have done his part a few days earlier :rotfl:

May have so good news for you, you have to be at least 24 +1 on the 1/1/11 as you are officially in your 25th week!
