That's early - our first appointment is supposed to be at 8-10 weeks. (Or at least it was four years ago - I haven't checked to see if it's changed.)
She did suggest next Friday at first but then changed her mind. My town has around 40,000 people in it which seems quite small? I'm quite good with doctor appointments too. If I ring up in the morning I get an appointment that day.Wife and mother :jGrocery budget

Ima tell people I'm a swinger if they ask if it was planned!
Them: "Was it planned"
Me: "Well we hold weekend swinging parties so it wasn't planned as such. But hey, such is life. We've narrowed it down to a possible 4 men to be the dad and that's good enough"

I think they have a certain amount of flexibility in the system in terms of appointments because a lot of what they do isn't set appointments. With my first pregnancy I had to cancel because I was too ill and the MW was able to fit me in the next week (she had one afternoon a week at my surgery where she did booking appointments and one morning when she did the regular antenatal appointments).
Ah yes I see! Sunday is more of a flexible appointment, I know she'll becoming but don't know what timex

Love it.....my OH always says "When you've had a tin of beans, you never know which one has made you f@rt" :rotfl:
Same goes for the 4 men at the swinging party eh? :T0 -
Afternoon ladies.
I have been signed off sick for 2 weeks with a "viral illness" Feels like I have got the flu but without the coughing/runny nose bit, and I feel a bit sick ontop!
I haven't been asked if the baby was planned (yet) however I have been asked by loads of people "so when are you getting married then" lol
Labour vibes to all in need of them. x xBaby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -
What are the age gaps?
I want to start trying for number 2 in January 2012.
There not that close tbh, like I said, perfectly spaced. Dd is 5 and DS is 3 so 22 months between them. DD is looking forward to looking after the baby. Her and DS get on pretty well and are great company for each other.
My friend has DS 3 DD 2 and a 6 month old. She is totally chilled out. She reckons 3 is no more work than 2.
My problem is DS is a handful. He never listens to me and breaks toys all the time. That's one of the main reasons for us moving to be with OH, I don't seem to have got him discaplined at all.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
My nanna was very unimpressed when we told her but she is 96 and a strict catholic so I understand why she was annoyed that we weren't married. She's come round now though.
She bursts into tears though everytime we talk about the baby, I assume that is with happiness and not cos she is so disapointed in me - ha ha0
