Hello , not quite graduated from the less than 12 weeks pregnant thread but could do with some reasurrance from further on ladies. Im about 10/11 weeks pregnant , due to some mess up at my health centre im not booking in with midwife untill fri and then she will book scan. But last night I noticed that I have a tiny bump, im a size 8 and about 5ft 6 and have felt my stomach has been flabby last few days but before bed I did have little tightish bump. Ran and showed OH who said he saw it too , trousers are feeling tighter also. Im totally paranoid now that Im having twins.My OH's dads brothers are twins and my dads gran was adopted so dont really know much about her family tree and Im really really cacking myself at the moment. My mum says im probs just bloated and gassy , but ive felt better these last few days and normal toilet trips have resumed (was very constipated first few weeks) sorry for TMI just totally freaking out , can anyone put my mind at restThanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

* Ask for MATB1 form as need it for work and haven't been given it yet
* Fill in HIP Grant form (not sure if you qualify for the HIP Grant Dusty as we only just made it in before the cut off date ourselves)
* Ask about Ante-Natal Classes
* Ask about hospital tour
* Ask what I can use/do to help ease the backaches I've been getting in lower back
Thats about it for general questions
Am also going to ask about rash I have on my legs which looks like patches of extremely dry skin. I think she will say it's something for the doctor but OH is determined I should ask her about it.
OH says he wants to ask about birth plan - who do we give it to etc I've told him I already know about that and have started thinking about it but again he is determined he wants to ask
Thanks for that, I do qualify for the Hip grant, just, I'm 25 weeks on the 17th Dec and cut off date is 1st Jan thankfully.
I will add MATB1 form and birth plan to my list.
Our hospital tours are the last sunday of every month at 4pm so think I'll go to the january one.
I'm also going to ask about the colposcopy op I had done when I was 22 where apparently a large chunk of my cervix was removed :eek:. Just want some reassurance that everything is ok - obv want a bump measurement and heart beat check too

Not sure what I can do to reassure you but is it your first? If not then you are likely to start getting a bump earlier. it isn;t out of the question for you to have a mini bump this early on and still be carrying just one.
Moll the doll on here is expecting twins so maybe she can help.
Don't panic - count yourself lucky - 2 for the price of 1 :rotfl:0 -
lablover I don't *think* the size of bump at this stage is refelctive of number of babies. No point in stressing anyway.
fairy I think its a month's notice...

this will be my first. We only just bought a 1 bedroom flat so its going to be tight squeeze with one baby never mind two. Trying to talk myself round by thinking it could be because I have polysistic ovaries and they told me my left ovary was enlarged. So maybe thats why Im sticking out more ?
Just kinda wondered if anyone else had a mini bump at 11 ish weeks with their first
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

LabLover, I had a bump early on. I would have sworn then, it was a real bump. However a couple of week after my 12 week scan, it disappeared. I was very disappointed!!:rotfl:
A proper real bump full of baby rather than fluid and gas appeared later. I'd say around week 18 ish - almost overnight!!:eek: - and it grew and grew and still grows since then!

Hi all
Just posting quickly at work as I've had a half day today to go to the hospital, so hugs, labour vibes and new boilers to all that need them!
Appointment was fine - my placenta has moved so no need for a planned C-section, so now the waiting game begins - 52 days and counting. Asked radiologist to check the gender again without telling her what we'd been told it was, and she said it looks like a boy - so we're going for team blue for sure!
