hi all,
getting really frustrated now lol about no movement and no obvious bump (of course my flab is still there in all its glory).
I am 16 and a half weeks and am convinced half the time the ivf didnt work and i am in a fantasy land. Oh and of course the fact i had a perfect 7 week and 12 week scan does not help me at all lol.

Basically im never happy lol.

I do that all the time. At nighti turn the tv over to Playhouse Disney incase the wee fella gets up early,I end up watching Handy Manny for 20 mind before I realise.

I would use the car seat too, you know where its been. I got some good maternity trousers in Next for £17 a pair, black and long, I need longer lengths too and these are variable in that the length changes with how high up you wear them. I got two pairs and kind of wish I had three as I'm living in them. They go to size 22.

And I'm 39 also, don't stress it...lots of women have babies in their 40s, though this one will be it for me.

Hi GFH, thanks re car seat. Think I must have ordered same trousers from Next yesterday, also ordered a long black skirt that can wear leggings and boots under. Don't do skirts normally!

I'm going to be on long term maternity leave from the New Year, so don't need to get work gear. I'm being made redundant, which I'm quite happy about, as my redundancy payout is good, and would rather get out now before all the terms and conditions change (work for local council). Just hope they don't find suitable alternative employment for me...I'd be gutted if they did.

Think I can claim JSA for approx 12 weeks then believe I'll get Maternity Allowance from when I'm 29 weeks.

Thank you for the support, I had really bad nausea etc until around 20 weeks with DS, hoping it doesn't last as long this time as I am finding it wearing. It's harder this time now I have a son to run around after & I'm 5 years older, I'm sure they both make a difference. Will try & make sure I'm more positive in future, just having on of those days...
