I have to say I am a bit disappointed with the selection, or non selection!. I went to H&M, New Look, Debenhams, mothercare and JoJoMamanBebe. All had really dark drab colours, blacks, greys and browns I know its winter but still! Or there were tacky looking tops emblazomed with "bump on board" or "preggers and proud" etc
I ended up buying a pair of jeans and a top in New Look and a pair of beige cords and 3 tops in H&M.
I've found New Look to be the best, definitely - for jeans anyway. Luckily most of my clothes are empire line cut anyway so they pretty much all still fit me.My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

sammy should say that on reading others' responses, I also have a fold-up-tiny mclaren pushchair. Its 7 years old and doing well, but have replaced the raincover twice as they are not tough enough. It has been off roading on Exmoor!!
spaghetti, you're only an hour behind aren't you? Or is it ahead? Love Holland, my Godmother is Dutch.

Morning all
Can anyone recommend anything I can put in my bath tonight to help clear my nose? It's stopping me sleeping very well at the moment.
Off to do some housework while DH is out for the morning. Hopefully it'll keep by bind off by sdotty dose
We may pop out and get a Christmas tree later if I feel like it. DH has been wanting one for weeks. If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -
Morning
@Sammy - I was going to say quinny buzz, but reading the few replies you got on the other thread I like the sound of the mountain buggy for your needs. The puncture thing would be a seller for me.
@tinks - awww she's so cuteThanks for sharing
Well we had our Christmas party last night and it was excellent. As much as I hate work, I do like the people I work with on a social side.
OH is nursing a sore head in the bath. He is supposed be at work already.
I'm amazed I managed to last the night, didn't get home till 2:30 and I could have gone on for longer. The only bad thing was I think baby must have slept most of the party and car journey home and when I got to bed he decided to have a party of his own! I'm sure he probably wriggles about all night anyway, but if he does I've never been kept awake from it. It was tough getting to sleep with him so active and pushing on my cervix making me jump

Morning
Aargghh the dreaded hearburn has finally started. All I have had is a bowl of shreddies but oh me, I'm on fire LOL! Was hoping to avoid gaviscon at the mo but will see how bad it gets, will maybe try some milk first and see if that helps.
DD has a birthday party today and I really can't be assed going, I suppose I'd better. Meant to be having my hair cut too but going to cancel, just not in the mood for doing anything except vegging today. My hair was originally booked for Thursday evening but when I turned up nobody was there. Hairdresser had an appointment and forgot to text me! She is a friend so didn't day too much but not very good tbh
DH making Spaghetti Carbonara and then fruit pavlova for birthday tea tonight yuuuuuummmmmyyyyy!:D"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -

I'm almost 14 weeks & am still struggling with really sever 24/7 nausea, so fed up with it now. Just needed a moan
There's no sign of it stopping any time soon & it's making eating healthily almost impossible

Ooo Teenie Carbonara is my favourite! Especially when my oh makes it. I love it when he puts the raw egg in at the end. The heat does cook ig but I avoided it last time he did it.
Hngrymummy- you could try a couple of drops of lavender in your bath. A few drops is safe during pregnancy and when mixed with the warm water the vapours can help clear your nose and head, plus it will help you sleep.
I got a bit homesick yesterday trying to build our bed and it was beating me. I just wanted to be back in my old house. But in the afternoon me and the kids went for a walk to the town centre. The people here are so friendly. Everyone spoke to me. Went into 2 banks to change address etc and both tellers had a friendly chat with me. There was no rush to get the next customer. So felt happier after that. I also tried my first buttery (like a squashed saltier croissant) I'm in love!! They are so fattening though but I've found my new treat.
On the buggy subject, I have a Chicco Trio I've had since DD was born. I love it for the carrycot and carseat part but it's quite big and heavy. I've got a battered old Mclaren I love to bits. It's so light I can lift the whole thing including ds up stairs etc. As soon as this one grows out if the carseat I'll be using the cheapo Mclaren until the wheels come off.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Ha ha Nic butteries yummmmyyyy! But you are right they are so fattening, a nice wee treat.
Glad you are feeling better today, once you get your things unpacked and make it yours hopefully you will feel better. x
BBM poor you, I can sympathise I am still being sick at 20 weeks (todayI feel so excited about this for some reason ???) but it is nowhere near as bad as it was. I was sick right through with DD but again not quite as bad as it was the first 16 weeks, hopefully it will either pass or ease for you as time goes on. It is also very naughty, it lulls you into a false sense of security and you might have a week or 2 of feeling great and not being sick.......but then it rears it's ugly head LOL!
