  • Thanks for the bath advice. I may try the lavender if I can get some today :)

BBM - I feel your misery. I've had MS right through, although I've not actually been sick for about 2 weeks :j My advice is go with the flow. Eat what you can when you can and make sure to take a preganancy vitamin suppliment. Drink plenty and make sure there is always a handy bucket nearby. I have one by the front door ready to go out on car journies and to work with me, and one that accompanies me around the house. Many a disaster has been prevented thanks to my buckets :o

Find something that you can munch for breakfast, and eat it as soon as you can on waking up. It doesn't always work for me, but often helps a lot. The other thing I find is that I can't drink anything on an empty stomach, so just be aware of little niggles that might affect your sickness.

If it gets too bad speak to your MW or GP as they can prescribe medication to help. Made such a difference to me. I did end up with quite a good aim for the plughole when I was having a shower in the morning :D

  • Ooh and on an MSE note, we finally paid off OH's credit card this morning!
    :j:beer::j:j:j:j:T:T:j

He had a significant amount of debt, and to date we've cleared 2 credit cards and a finance loan for his car :T

Just got one largish Northern Rock loan to pay off now, and then he/we are debt free! (apart from the mortgage) :D

  • YAY :j:j

    Go MV. :T

DH said last night that he had hoped to clear our debts before sproglet arrives, but getting pregnant was a bit of a surprise, and me being so poorly (and needy apparently) has slowed down progress on the decorating, shed building and storage emptying, which has cost us extra money :(

I will be using you as inspiration and we will hopefully get debt free by the end of next year.

  • Afternoon all!

MV, what a lovely neat bump. I seem to have one already at 13+6, and even with an extender button I might have to stop wearing my normal jeans and start with my maternity ones.

BBM - I hope you feel better soon, must be rotten to be so sick all the time x.

FF, Ohh, how fab you felt baby, I'm sooo looking forward to it!

All I can say today is owwwww. My back has gone *again*. It was just getting better after last time too. I leant over to pick up a bit of paper ealier and was in agony. To make it worse I was upstairs at the time and was just about stuck. My dad came down with a loaf of bread for me but he didn't have his set of keys, I barely made it down the stairs to let him in. I thought he was going to have to go home and get the other set off my mum and help me down. :o As it is, he made me lunch because I can't bend. :) I'll phone the physio again on Monday to get an appointment.

    Hope everyone is well.

    Welcome Annibee

Congratulations on finding out you are team blue EA those boy vibes I sent obviously worked ;)

Tinks Have been looking at your pics on FB - Lily is gorgeous :)

Beackatron They have caught onto the Matalan glitch now and I missed it. You've ordered some lovely neutral stuff there - I may have to order some of those items anyway without the discount as they are too cute!

Iceicebaby maternity clothing shopping is indeed a nightmare. I have found Next sizing is good but they are a little more pricey than most. I've brought most of my maternity wear from Ebay and then just brought basic stables as and when I've seen them that I can jazz up with accessories.
MV lovely neat bump you've got yourself there :D Well done on getting some of your debts paid off. I became debt free earlier this year and it is such a great feeling :)

I always find it funny that GFH has to ask Sammy how pregnant she is!

I didn't go on my Christmas do in the end Giz when I weighed up the options it made more sense for me to stay at home and save the money I would've spent on the meal.

Things are good here. Hubby felt the baby move from the outside for the first time on Thursday evening - we were watching a film and he had his hand on my tummy and he felt it. He welled up with happiness it was such a lovely moment :D

Since then he has felt it quite a few times, this morning when were laying in bed he had his hand on my tummy and bubs was wriggling about all over the place and hubby was amazed how much he could feel :)

Not got much planned over the weekend. Am going to make the most of free listing weekend on Ebay by sticking a few bits on this afternoon. Then am going to have a quiet night in watching X Factor and probably trying my hand at entering some competitions :)

Tomorrow depending on the weather we are possbly going to Oxford to the German market and possibly a trip to Primark while we are there as we don't have one in Milton Keynes.

Happy weekend ladies and baby bumps :)

    Hi everyone:hello:

Guess I should join you all now, I'm 12+5, or 12+4 according to my scan this week, giving me a due date of 13th or 14th June. What EDD are you sticking to?

Well those who don't know me from TTC and less than 12 thread, I'm 39, will be 40 when baby here, this will be my first and probably only child. I'm still convinced something will go wrong and haven't been able to enjoy so far as my nausea/sickness been so bad. It does seem to be easing tho this week. Had my scan and all looked good so far and nuchal measurement which was less than 1mm and bloods-they said would hear within 24 hours, that would have been Wednesday, so hoping no news is good news.

I'm not looking to buy anything until I'm 20 weeks, I will need maternity trouser soon, as my jeans are tight. Problem is I'm a plus size girl too, I'm a size 22....but also 5ft 11, normally I rely on Next for their long length, but most of their 22s are only a regular length.

Been offered a car seat from my brother, its 6 years old but only used for 2 spells of just over a year with my niece and nephew. Would you be happy using it, I can't see a reason not to, and will give me more options when explore the world of prams/pushairs etc.

    Right enough rambling for now!
:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:
