I think i'm going to have to phone the midwife tomorrow, I am getting more and more worried about the lack of movement from bubs and it is starting to stress me out more and more. I just feel I should be getting stronger movements by now but if anything I feel they are lessening
I have been trying to be upbeat and positive but I just can't anymore I need to know that everything is ok

Are you feeling any movements? Try lying on your side, eating something sweet, ice cold drink etc.

When mine is playing up and giving me concern, I try and hold my wee (not easy) so I'm literally busting, then I feel faint movements on my bladder, or sometimes a wallop!

(((Hugs))) Teenie - How many weeks are you now? About 20? It's not uncommon to only feel little movement. I'm nearly 24 weeks and its only very recently that baby girl has been making her presence known a lot more! When is your next mw appt? Could you get in earlier to get the doppler out?

Krystal - Yeah, that doesn't sound much fun in the snow. But would DD get the day of school if snow (:j) I like the idea of snow - all pretty and serene - but the practicalities are a nightmare!!

I want snow! It snowed for about 30 mins here yesterday and didn't even lay.

Thanks guys, I'm 19 weeks but started feeling movement at 16 weeks. Felt more movement back then than I do now. If it was the same I wouldn't worry. Don't see anyone for another 2 weeks when I go for my scan. I think if I can see the midwife and she has a wee listen I will be more than happy. I am rubbish at seeing medical people and tend to put things off but just feel I can't ignore this

EA - did I read that you're getting a gender scan? It was such a lovely idea that you had about your NHS scan on Xmas Eve. You must be one impatient lady!!!

I've had this on my mind over the weekend. Baby went crackers last night and that eased me a little and relaxed my mental state!

What I did notice however, was a post in the 12 week thread (dunno who posted it, sorry I think BBM?) where to get the baby to move the sonographer advised to turn on tummy, then turn on back (360 move). The poster said that got the baby kicking and moving about. Just thinking maybe it's worth a shot?

I know if bubs goes quiet again i'm gonna be giving it a bash!

Unfortunately the head teacher thinks a little snow never hurt anyone and won't close the school... In January every school in the local area was closed apart from ours!!

Hehe, yes

Its on Thursday.

I blame the BnB website, everyone was mentioning it on there and it made my impatience peak to the highest level :rotfl:
