  • Teenie I know exactly how you are feeling. I worried for ages about not feeling much movement. I'd say it's only since about 28/9 weeks onwards that I've actually been feeling much. It could well be to do with your placenta position. Get your MW to have a listen to put your mind at rest :)

No snow for me either sammy..I'm kind of hoping for some as I'm really struggling with my commute. My bladder is like a pea too..thought I was going to wet myself on the train home this evening. Think baby was using my bladder as a trampolene, most unpleasant.

Welsh don't take it personally. Often posts get missed, it's not personal. Everyone is caught up in their own pregnancy to some extent.

Good luck for Thursday EA..how exciting! x

I'm not actually sure why I bothered coming back to let you know I was ok as no-one seems to be remotely bothered and I haven't even been acknowledged. So much for a caring inclusive bunch of women. You can remove me from the list I won't bother coming back to let you know anything else so there's no point in you waiting to hear of the birth of my baby.

The thread moves so fast - not all posts get responded to - it's the nature of the beast. It happens to the best of us. I've had to repeat my posts to illicit a response - it doesn't mean that no one cares.

I'm sorry that you feel so aggrieved and I wish you a safe, happy and healthy remainder of pregnancy and that you get plenty of mummy cuddles in before Christmas.

Ticklepenny - I second a hugs button. Shall we suggest it to the powers that be??!

I think i'm going to have to phone the midwife tomorrow, I am getting more and more worried about the lack of movement from bubs and it is starting to stress me out more and more. I just feel I should be getting stronger movements by now but if anything I feel they are lessening :(
I have been trying to be upbeat and positive but I just can't anymore I need to know that everything is ok :(

It might be a good idea, just to put your mind at rest. I had a similar thing at 22 weeks and the hospital were really good about it. Let us know how you get on :)

I am really sorry that you feel like this but I'm sure you haven't been over looked intentionally. I must admit there have been a few times when I have felt like you have but as I think it's already been said, the thread moves really quickly and it's hard to keep up with at times especially if there are pages and pages to read back.

I'm intrested in finding out about the birth of your baby for what is worth. :)

Just wanted to add to Welshlassie that posts do often get missed - to be honest I seldom seem to get a response, but have stopped letting it bother me. I usually just read and don't post too often, probably why they get missed!

Also I have put a maternity bed pad thingy on my bed, I put in under my sheet so that it doesn't crinkle or move around - the only thing I have noticed is that it is really warm!!
  • I'd never even thought about what happens when waters break! Yet another thing to consider!!:rotfl:

Cat when are you going to sticker up your nursery? :)

But you know what, even though I don't respond to loads of individual posts - I do retain a lot of info. For example, I know that you live on a farm, have crazy dogs (including a JR?), have a hubby who drives a tractor and you worked in a lab testing pee or something just as nice. And did you have itchy hands??? :D

And don't even get me started on GFH and her pink and orange buggy and MV's 2 train commute :D

God, I sound like a complete stalker don't i????? :rotfl:

We're thinking of going for a 3d/4d scan before Christmas. I think DH wants to double check we're having a girl before he gets the pink paint out :rotfl:

Welshlassie, I can only echo what others have said, things move so quickly on here and its posts that sometimes get ignored not people. Its difficult to keep everyone's personal situation in mind, especially with baby brain's a plenty! Its easier with those that post more regularly as we don't have to think back so far! It doesn't mean we don't want to hear from you too and if you have have a question or want some advice, don't feel afraid to ask again if you didn't get a reply first time.

Teenie, I am the same! I first felt something at about 16 and a half weeks for a couple of days then nothing! I got myself in a bit of a tiz about it, especially since about the same time I fell down a hole! So the midwife listened to the heartbeat about a week ago while I was there for bloods as I told her I was a bit anxious and it was there and strong. I have my 20 week scan tomorrow so that will be further reasuurance that all is OK. I think I'm just a couple of days ahead of you, I'm due 21/4. So try not to worry and speak to your midwife for reassurance hun.
