Bless you Sarah - hope you are putting your feet up now and are feeling reassured. It is good to have an explanation x

He is back to front and they said he will probably stop like it now too!

  • One other question ladies..does anyone know much about the Vit K injection, and does anyone have any strong views for or against it?

Just trying to make a few birth plan notes.

DD had vit K and this one will be having it too. My brother had the vitamin K injection and had to have more as he had problems which would have been worse if he hadnt had the injection, so that pretty much convinced me lol.

Oh and I love the stickers MV!

Am a tired bunny today. Went to see the german market in Leeds but by the time we got to leeds, had something to eat and got sorted for a wander it started to snow heavily so had to come straight home. So I saw it but didnt get to go round :( Planning on going back next weekend to try again hopefully, I want to buy loads of cute little gifts :D

  • Having read some more CS experiences it just reinforces my desire not to be awake if I have to have one! I can't imagine anything worse for me! I hate having blood tests and injections etc, and find them far far worse if they numb the area first. To know that something's happening and not be able to feel it....Bleugh. I just know that I'll be sick/pass out/be in hysterics/all of the above if I'm awake for a CS. I don't want the risk of associating the little monster with a bad experience like that.

I've spoken to DH and, if a CS needs to happen, he'll look after sproglet, preferably in the recovery room with me, until I come round.

I know that might not sound positive, but for me it is. Reading all the experiences has helped me make a definite decision, which now means that I'm not going to be worrying so much about what happens if I need a CS. :)

Eeeep. Need to start thinking about getting hospital bags packed soon. I can't believe it's just over 10 weeks to go.

    Night all.

ps, can anyone link me to one of the many posts about what to pack in the hospital bags. I keep meaning to copy the list on to my computer. Ta :)
