  • Ooh, you cross stitch chicky? I just noticed. I really need to start a new project, just can't make my mind up what I want to do, I do have a few UFO's somewhere I think... Not really done any this year at all.

Hi GL welcome over. No such thing as TMI on this thread - boobs can leak anytime. If they get crusty, a hot flannel will help, and a bit of vaseline or lansinoh if they are sore.

i KNEW you were on another thread!! just couldn't put my finger on it! :D

b00bies are strangeee things! i swore mine leaked reallly early on as was actually able to squash fluid drops out of them, they've stopped now. they kill from being covered in scabs (pregnancy itching/ mutilation) tho as am currently off work i am also going bra-less most days which helps.

tut tut..... must start my christmas stuff this week. let me know if you want a ;);) of the popcorm birth sampler.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
  • Thanks for that, both of you. Will attack them with vaseline later.

And ooh, might take you up on that chicky. :) I could do with framing some of my completed ones too, just another thing I never seem to get around to. I need to get my embroidery machine going for Christmas too and I'm supposed to be making up cushions and things for presents, but just haven't had the energy. Don't seem to be quite as tired, so going to try and make a start tomorrow. But I'm determined to get stuff made for baby.

    Hi everyone

Welcome GarnetLady - beautiful scan pic, he/she looks like they're relaxing in there!

Got some bargain baby food in Tesco earlier, I'm going to try to feed him fresh food only but I know there will be times (out and about, too tired etc) when it's not convenient. So, I got 20 jars of 4 months plus Hipp Organic and Organix for £10 - and used a £5 Clubcard voucher doubled up to pay for it. All the ones I got have meat in them (chicken, beef or turkey) because I'm veggie (although OH isn't) so it will be harder to get those foodstuffs into his fresh meals.

Also, accidentally went to a Mums to be club earlier - walked into my local cafe for my toastie and tea weekend treat and there was one taking place so I joined in :)

Firstly congrats to all the new mummies :j:j:j There's so many recently I can't keep up!

Happy Birthday to Hitchins hope you are having a nice day :)

Stay put vibes to MV I hope the wetness is just a bit of heavy discharge rather than anything water related. Hope you have taken it nice and easy today.

Hope that all is well with you Sarah let us know how you got on.

    I've had a productive day :T

Went to the local car boot this morning and picked up a few things. Got a brand new fabric play mat for £1 and a couple of little hats for baby for 50p :D

I took back some maternity trousers that I brought from Matalan as one of the seams were faulty and had come apart, they exchanged them even though I didn't have my receipt so was pleased about that.

Brought some black maternity leggings from Asda. Had always said I wouldn't wear leggings ever again but have been tempted as I want a pair of fuggs (fake cheapo Uggs) and they look so much better with leggings than trousers. Tried them on in the shop and they looked much better than I thought and they were SO comfy :p gonna go and get myself a pair of fuggs to go with them tomorrow and a nice long cosy jumper :)

Also picked up my Huggies newborn kit while I was at Asda and paid another £5 onto my gift card :D

Have actually managed to make a start on my christmas shopping today too. Now just cooking honey and lemon sausages with my own special glaze for dinner - have made the recipe up by chucking a load of stuff in together so will have to wait and see how it comes out :rotfl:

Hope all you ladies and bumps are keeping warm in this cold weather.

Thank you xxx survived the party, actually it was brilliant. xx:D

Welcome Garnet - lovely scan. :)

MV - I'm the same and have been for ages, since before 20 wk scan and nothing was mentioned, so just presumed it was another undignified pregnancy symptom. :o Got a 4D scan on Wednesday so will mention it to them, must admit it doesn't smell like wee to me, but I just thought that you wee that much that it doesn't have time to "ferment" so to speak..... *scratches head and keeps eye on damp PJ's..*

SarahJane - Got my fingers crossed, sure you've nothing to worry about, mine can be a blighter too.

Welcome Garnetlady I have updated the list on the previous page for you ;)

Vit K injections, I was happy for DD to have it, especially when she was a bit shocked after "shooting out" very quickly and she was quiet for an awful long time (I thought the worst :(). Midwife suggested they just give it to her straight away to see if they could get a reaction. Have no probs with this bubs getting it.

MV hope your ok hun, hope it's just a bit of wee, I was shocked how much wee kept escaping when I was pregnant with DD (and it only gets worse LOL :o)

    Hope you're ok grateful x
