HI SA, hope all is well xx
  • One other question ladies..does anyone know much about the Vit K injection, and does anyone have any strong views for or against it?

Just trying to make a few birth plan notes.

my DS had it, tho only cause it was recommended he did. at the end of the day i was happy for him to have it, yes i didn't like the thought of him being stabbed that soon after birth but compared to the needles to come it was nothing and he'd not remember it.

    linky to some good reading.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

Both of mine have had it, DD1 had the oral dose, DD2 had the injection because the hospital policy changed in between... It helps with blood clotting and helps prevent haemorrage in the newborn I believe...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Thought it was about time I moved from Less than 12 weeks and came over here!

I'm 31 and am 13 weeks with my first baby. New EDD is 5th June, was 9th, but I was put forward at my scan on Friday. (I reckon I'm more accurate than they are though ;))

Had some bleeding early on, which scared me senseless and the second scan spotted a small separation, which is now almost completely gone.

I have IBD and the meds I'm on put me a slightly higher risk, so I'm off to see the consultant a week on Monday. I've also to call the physio on Monday to self refer, as I'm having some back ad pelvis problems. (Falling to bits me!)

After all the worry of the first 12 weeks, I'm now really enjoying my pregnancy. I'm so happy and so looking forwrd to being a mum.

Spent some time yesterday joining all the baby clubs (thanks for the list Charlie!).

I've been lurking about all the threads for aaaages, was about to join TTC finally when I got pregnant (gotta love CBFM :D).

And now I've written this loong post I'll just say I hope everything is okay for SA and MV x.

  • Thanks I'm very glad to be here, and ohh so I am! :)

Okay, I've been here literally 2 mins and I have a slightly TMI question.. Is it too early for my boobs to be leaking? Because I noticed they were really crusty last night... :o
