Coops, is that coat quite warm? It's hard to see how thick it is. I usually wear my Regatta in weather like this but it is getting snug, especially with the fleece inside.

I don't want to pay much more than £30 for a maternity coat I won't be wearing again.

I can't believe how much snow there is in November! There's not much here in Sw Scotland but I'm concerned the moving guys will refuse to drive to Aberdeenshire on Tuesday. The snow is really bad where we are moving to and it's not going to let up over the next few days!
I just want to get settled in and stock the cupboards up.

How are you ladies affected by the snow getting on? Im so worried I slip. I'm also disappointed I can't go on the kids sledge.

Morning Nic,

We moved on 18th Dec last year - the first day of the snow and it was a bit hairy! Our lovely ex neighbours helped us move and they nearly got stuck here! Looking back, it was so lovely to have the helkp and it certianly got us into the festive mood with all the snow!

We have loads here at the moment in the North East and with having SPD I haven't been out in it - mobility is dodgy in normal conditions so a bit scared in the snow. If you fancy a go on the sledge though, don't let your preg put you off - you could go only half way up the hill so you go at a slower, safer speed. I would if I wasn't such a scaredy cat of causing myself further injury!

You get a matching foot stool. I've tried reading in it and it is really comfy and the back drops down as well as the rocking reclining motion. Think the comfort key is in the padded arms. I tried a similar version out in John Lewis Sheffield and that's what made me want one.

But it might be worth searching for second hand ones in your area if your budget doesn't stretch. Also, check what space you have available as they are huge and ours is behind the door at the moment in the nursery although I may move it downstairs if it is too much in the way!

We've got a bed in the spare room as another option. Due date is tomorrow so we'll find out soon enough what works best!

I will probably resell mine afterwards to get some £ back on it but will hopefully get lots of use out of it before then.

Morning everyone, thanks for the congrats. Erm, this is kind of embarrassing but I got my new daughters DOB wrong :o:o It should say thurs 25-11-10, not 27th as I put. Please could someone amend? In my defence I am a little tired!!
