Well it's my birthday today and I shall be mostly spending it at Polkadot's play gym for DD's 3rd birthday (tomorrow).....*sulks*

Well went out last night and had a really nice meal. Unfortunately half of the family never made it due to the the snow. It is pretty bad here, there were a few hairy moments driving around yesterday, looks like the roads haven't even been touched!

Poor dd was really sick last night, not sure if she was just too hungry, then it was a late tea, which she scoffed down. She didn't stop being sick until 2.30am this morning but seems absolutley fine now. Unfortunately as she was being sick, my stomach couldn't cope with it so cue both of us throwing up! :D Mum came to the rescue though, bless her!

Will it be 20 + before i start to feel regular strong movements from bubs? Still not feeling an awful lot and I started feeling it 3 weeks ago so thought it would be getting stronger already?

About breastfeeding at work though...on the DVD I was given it says the employer has to provide a private room. Now I don't think I will be breastfeeding after a year, but you never know if I'll change my mind. But in reality I really can't see how my company could provide me with a private room. There isn't one at all, except the toilet.

Morning Ladies and Bumps. Happy Birthday to HItchins and congrats to all the new arrivals!!!
Well I will 28 weeks on Tuesday and really feel like I am on the home straight now. My DH has went back to work in Kuwait again so I am back home alone. Went for some Xmas shopping yesterday but felt really knackered after just being out for a couple of hours, think I am just gonna do the rest of my shopping online, cant believe its nearly Xmas. I finish work for ML on Xmas Eve so 3 weeks on Friday and I cant wait, be nice to just relax.
The snow where I am is really bad today, I was wanting to go out and get some maternity stuff, but dont want to risk it in the snow.
Lazy Sunday now for me.lol.

Hi all - does anyone know about possible leaking of this?

What it looks like/smells like etc?

Just found my pj bottoms are overly wet so having a minor stress out.

Going to wear a pad for an hour and check that (what i have read to do)

MV don't panic, it could be extra discharge or a bit of a wee - a little can feel like a lot. On "One born every minute" they said waters smell different (like sperm) if you can have a sniff of it.

You're doing the right thing, monitoring with a pad. Don't forget you can always ring the triage midwife for some advice too if you're worried.

It did smell a tiny bit like sperm I have to say, but I'm going to just monitor it and if necessary will call the hospital.

Hopefully it's just me being overly-paranoid!
