Morning ladies, have update the list and added my1stbaby and Roodles, if I have missed anyone just let me know.
I couldn't get on here last night, kept crashing out, did anyone else have probs? I was (nearly) having withdrawals LOL :o:D

Congratulations Jade, glad your wee boy is doing well, even though you had a rough time of it.

    Fab piccy Dusty!

CL you are not pathetic, I was in tears too when I was being induced, as I just wasn't getting anywhere. I really hope things start happening soon for you hun x

Purple good luck for today, hope you meet you baby very soon!

Tinks hope your having a relaxing day today! All the best for tomorrow just in case I can't get in later again for any reason.

PC not great news about your scan. I suppose on the positive side you have been there before and everything was ok and at least they're keeping a close eye on things!

I'm sure there was more to say but it has taken me a while to catch up and my the time I got to the last page I forgot!

  • Morning Ladies and bumps :)

Congrats to Jade on the birth of baby Ethan :)

Hugs Twoflower I can't imagine how you are feeling with regards to the pregnancy etc and although I haven't been through exactly the same when I was 21 my bf was murdered through the troubles over here and I was in limbo for a while too but take some comfort from having friends and family around and having this place to come to when you do need to vent or just write down stuff that is going through your head that noone else would understand.....

Am off to the Drs this morning...was sent home yesterday from work after developing a really strange headache that made me feel like my head was in a bubble....blood pressure was up as well but phoned maternity and they were happy enough for me to go home and sleep and if it got any worse to go over...I didn't feel any worse or better after my sleep so I didn't bother them and I already had my appointment this morning with my Dr so I will keep you ladies informed.

am still a bit headachy and fuddly this morning and it didn't help finding my freezer door lying open this morning, hubby having been the last person in it last night. I think all the food is fine, found a couple of things that were starting to defrost but the rest seems to still be solid...I can't afford to loose the contents of my freezer atm :(

Labour vibes to CL and Purple and anyone else who needs them....sorry I haven't read back but there are something like 50 pages since my last visit on Saturday lol...will catch up later xxxx

Aw feel for you i have had a couple of these types of headaches and they are really unpleasant, I don't usually get headaches either! I found that paracetamols did help and someone on here suggested some coffee and that done the trick.
    Hope it clears soon.

    Morning Ladies,

Good luck to CL and Purple!!! And Tinks for tomorrow!!!:j

Congrats on baby Ethan to Jade.

Not much doing with me just now. Hoping that joiner might come today and perhaps finish his side of things with the nursery so DH and I can get it painted and carpeted. Love to say that I will then get it organised for the Little one but we are moving our stuff in so we can rip our room apart!! Joy.
Should have bought a new house rather than one from the 1890s!!! Doh.

Was hoping to go to Glasgow at the weekend to look at prams etc and perhaps go for a 4D scan :j but I think DH wants to finish the room and I can see his point but that will mean we won't get down there until the new year as I am back to work next week. Harump. Not happy. Want to see my little baby again, and choose a pram etc!!! Ho hum. Guess I will just have to wait.

I suspect the thought (pram shopping) scares the bejesus out of DH... lol

  • Oh Rocker, that doesn't sound much fun!!! Hopefully they will be able to explain it/treat it today. My DH regularly leaves the freezer door open or worse, puts frozen food into the fridge!! sigh, men huh!!

Twoflower, my thoughts are with you, I cannot imagine what it must be like. (((hugs))).
But we are listening to you, if you need us too. Keep strong. xx

Good luck Tink, Cl and purple, by Friday at the latest there will be 3 new babies :D

Teenie - Ive just realised last night that not only will we probably be giving birth at the same hospital but may possibly be in at the same time! you are 4 days a head of me. With my Dd i was one day early and with my ds I was 2 days late.
it hadnt actually clicked how close our dates were.

My bump seems to of grown overnight! its so much firmer and has expanded. Everyone who sees me says im huge and look as if im due soon :o.
The thing is ive actually lost some weight. i can feel it in my jeans and see it accross my collar bones. Ive not being eating as much crap as i was pre pregnancy and have become very fussy anout what I fancy. Im still craving unhealthy things like cheese and smoked sausages, salami etc.
im still wearing my normal jeans. i have some maternity ones I got off ebay, but they keep falling down too. I have to wear my jeans lower but at least I can still get away with them until Christmas, when hopefully ill be getting a couple of pairs of maternity ones.

LOL Nic yeah I know, how cool would that be! I was a week late with DD after being induced so I am expecting to be late again. Want to avoid the 29th April though with this Wedding malarky, don't want the midwifes running off to see the Royals when I'm in labour and forgetting to come back :rotfl:

How are you feeling? Hope you are not too down x

My fat tummy is getting a bit firmer too I got a size smaller in maternity trousers so they are fitting ok at the mo. I got other maternity trousers when I was pregnant wiht DD and they are really comfy but they just wont stay up just now. I lost nearly 4 stone this time last year so I am in the jeans that I was wearing then, they are a bit big still but comfier than my normal jeans, and it saved me pennies having to buy maternity jeans!

Right away to meet friends at my Wednesday group so better get my skates on.

    Catch you all later xxx

    Mornings :)

Busy day today so shouldn't be on here :o.

Good Luck CL and Purple, and Tink for tomorrow! So exciting its finally happening for you :)

Teenie, could I have a boy symbol if you update the list again pretty please?

Those of you with falling down maternity stuff have you checked inside in case there are buttons on elastic so you can tighten them up for now? I think most of my maternity trousers are like this, I had to be told by someone in the shop otherwise I probably wouldn't have spotted it. Am loving the comfyness of maternity clothes once I found that out :)

Coops, I'm with you on the DIY nightmares, OH seems to be loads better at ripping stuff own than putting anything back up! We are slowly getting there, only problem is we have one final room to strip and replaster - I'd happily leave it as is for a few years as only the spare room, but he wants it all done before we get carpets in - I can see his point but I just want my house to be livable again!!

Dusty, congrats on the scan and staying team yellow, I sort of wanted you to copy me on that one, but you're right you'll probably have a boy as well! Very freaky, I always wished I'd been a twin when I was younger so kind of cool to have one now :D
  • Holy poo!! - I never stopped to consider the royal wedding on the effects of the NHS. I've been told i'll be booked in for a C Section the week before my due date. Please don't let it be that date! :(
