Afternoon ladies
Well feeling better than I did last night thanks goodness!
So glad your scans went well ladies, Dusty I hope it has put your mind at ease (well for the mo anyway).
I must admit I have been feeling a wee bit anxious as I don't seem to have felt bubs in a couple of days, and I think my bump is shrinking, but I am trying to chill out and be sensible about it. I am still chucking up and tired so that surely is the biggest sign LOL and I am only 18 + weeks so have a few weeks to go before I get definate movements. The bump thing could just be that I am still lighter than my pre pregnancy weight, so maybe I am just losing weight/not putting any on? Am I sounding convincing!
CL just want to wish you good luck and quick labour vibes for later, looking forward to hearing all about it.
Sarah I am glad you have spoken to your husband about how you feel. I really hope he bucks up his ideas and starts supporting you.
Have a lovely day ladies and I'll catch up later. xx"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
Not sure what the script will be for classes. OH has told me he doesn't want to come along with me which I'm finding a bit upsetting. He's a wonderful man but not terribly good with showing emotions. I think he'll be next to no use during the labour and if he doesn't come to classes he will really be useless.
We were invited to 2 different sets of classes in/around Aberdeen but both are the same format by the sounds of it. 4 evening classes;
1. Preparing for Birth
2. Coping with Labour
3. Skills for New Parents
4. Getting off to a Good Start
I will update tomorrow once I have been prepared for birth:rotfl:. My mum informs me that when she had me this involved a razor and an enema but I'm hoping things have moved on .0 -

Mainly because I am worried I won't make it and something awful will happen between now and tomorrow!! I keep having to sit on sofa inbetween the house to feel movements! Paranoia or what?!!Tinkwings, our babies could be sharing a birthday (although I really hope mine will be here tomorrow and won't make me wait until Thursday). I can't believe when I leave home this evening, the next time I will be back I'll have our baby with me. We also get the surprise of whether it will be a girl or a boy.
I think my mum is going to have a nervous breakdown. She worries so much about us and gets herself so upset if she thinks that we are upset or in pain, but she is really looking forward to having another grandchild. She already has 6, but the youngest just turned 7 last week, so she is ready for another baby.
WOW we are in for a mini baby arrival boom :j
Hope all goes well for you CL & purplepardalis :A I agree it is a very odd feeling to know that when you go in on a certain date that when you leave you will have your babyIf you can think it........it will happen0 -
Anyone got a list of baby things i'm going to need? I'll never find the ones posted in this thread! Time to start my spreadsheet me thinks!Beautiful Baby Boy born 28 April 20110

hmmm bump dilema. am off to the theatre with work girlies tonight...who I've not seen in 2 weeks and defo wasn't showing then.... do i wear a tight top and get the "ohhh your showing" comments (or worse a tight top and NOO comments) or a baggy top and be asked by each individually "are you showing yet"??"
hmmmmmmmmmmm...............................loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Wear the top you feel most comfortable in, i know that sounds silly but i have found people comment no matter what so its better to choose something i feel good in.
