So then, am I a liar as well??

I have been a member on here for a few years, have many, many posts and even more thank you's, so would you care to discredit my story in some way?

I know first hand just how far Staples seem to be prepared to go to keep customers - if a senior manager has to get involved they seem to take it very personally, and the value of the goods is not an issue, it seems to be service that they pride them selves on.

I think it's time you offered SM an apology, accusing someone of being a liar is pretty low in my book, unless you can prove it, which you can't. Time to man up or grow up.

The way some posters are laying into the OP makes it look like too many Currys and / or PC World employees have too much time on their hands. The OP is entitled to sing Staples' praises and I'm glad he did: there's a customer service ethos at Staples which we've benefited from: courteous and knowledgable staff and, in our case, an instant willingness to replace -- of all things -- a shredder that packed in 10 months after purchase.

Crack on dear, then also look at the content of my posts, and the content of SM's, no similarity what so ever, but to be fair you would need at least some form of intelligence to work all that out, which, sadly, is not your strong point is it? so you carry on your accusations, make your self look an ever bigger fool (which I had not thought possible, until that is you replied!), and the rest of us with an IQ that is over 20 will follow your posts and wonder just how it is you can actually manage to work a keyboard!!

Sums up gordikin and geordieracer very nicely !!:):rotfl::D. As Phylpho stated, they are probably employees of PCWorld or Currys with nothing better to do.:rotfl:

There is also a very interesting post from MSE user CoopDivi with regards the lack of constructive quality in all of gordikin's postings on a thread entitled 'Online Copyright' at https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/38453936#Comment_38453936. I'm sure that the same could be applied for geordieracer.:D

I wouldn't be surprised if the OP is telling the truth.

I bought a relatively cheap printer from Staples. It developed a fault after a few months usage. I took it back to complain to the store manager. I was amazed when he offered me a free replacement model, which was more expensive and better spec'd, and also a load of gift vouchers.

As a result, I always shop at Staples rather than other stores if it sells the products.

Congratulations to the OP for getting a good result !

I bought some staples from Staples and one of them developed a fault. When I tried to escalate my complaint at my local store the manager told me they didn't have an escalator and to use the lift instead.

Got my sympathies but pales into insignificance when compared with the probs that I have been having with my doll.:rotfl:
