Staples have been really good to me.

Hi all,
Bought a USB hub from Staples over 12 months ago for £8-00.
It developed a fault a few days ago. Returned it to my local store but, for various reasons, they refused to exchange it or refund me.
I wasn't happy so I escalated and complained to Peter Bicks, Staples Vice-President, via sending an email to him at Peter.Birks@staples.co.uk. Within 2hrs, I then get a call from the Staples Area Manager apologising for the way that I had been treated.
A little while later, the overall store manager at my local Staples visits my home address to present me with a superior USB hub (which costs 3 times as much as my original one) and £50-00 in vouchers as compensation.
Wonderful result and really pleased with the result of my escalation.

The same thing happened to me, except he was riding a unicorn.0 -
And the three bears.
I've missed Sirmarcus and his repetitive postings, he went a bit quite when his AE was outed as Marcus Williamson.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
I reality Staples have not been good to you. They should have replaced the item in the first instance.0

Glad they weren't good to me in the first instance; otherwise I wouldn't have got the £50 voucher or the better hub.:):D0 -
So they have given you £75.00 worth of goodwill on an £8 product?
