Well done for the taking the first pill:j "the bitterest pill is hard to swallow" - sorry, had to get that in
but you've made the first step and so pleased you can now take Ashli out for her birthday - thank godness you've got a wonderful MIL (want to swap???)
You'll have a lovely day with Ashil and its a bonus too that you can spend some quality time with her alone which is what I think you were concerned about. She'll have a fantastic time and you can also have another lovely day with MIL included and knowing you - it won't have to cost the earth, just a tea party in the garden in the summer or whatever, you'll think of something0 -
MIL just called. She's just called my SIL and now she is going to have Kaitlyn on sunday so that MIL can come with us. Had a feeling that MIL wasn't best pleased when I told her what SIL had said so looks like MIL had words with her so now the original plan for sunday is back on. MIL even said not to worry about anything and I can relax now it's all sorted. Bless her heart.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

:grouphug: Have been really busy and not posted recently but have kept up with your diary and never mind MSE diaries published your diary of how you feel with PND should be published as a guide to others how quickly it can come on and then take over your life. Sorry to hear that the fab immoral family are having a wobble but then sadly this happens however by starting to deal with your debts when you did and arranging budjets etc you have laid a fantastic foundation on which to let Steve help you out for a bit, You are a fab mum and an inspiriation to many and I bet many of Steves mate wish they had someone like you. Hang in there were all willing you better put you hands on the keyboards and feel the waves of positive thoughts and good wishes xxOct 2006 Debt Was£32817.00

Didn't know you had to inform tax office if you weren't working.
ETA_ you did ring the tax office didn't you not the tax credit office helpline? The reason I'm wondering if you are owed tax back is everyone has a personal allowance what they can upto without paying tax. Not sure of exact figures for the 06-07 tax year without googling but roughly it's around £5K. With you not earning enough to pay tax earlier in the tax year and then going off on maternity later on, I'm wondering if you overpaid on the short time you did pay tax and if you did you should be able to get it back.0
