    and 3 ready meals lol!

Let me guess, one for you and two for him? :rotfl: Ready meals are too small.

It's always going to be the way that one person in a couple's going to be better with money. However it's pointless IA beating herself up over 2 quid t-shirt or a quid's worth of flowers for her mum's grave when the majority of expense is being spent elsewhere.

Edit - sorry, hope that doesn't sound like I'm making a judgement about your relationship - I'm not, just saying if his heart isn't fully in it, I know how you feel!

I was worried about that, but I kind of felt it might make IA feel less guilty about the clothes...

Don't worry, I don't think it came across critical - it sounded how you meant it (to me anyway) :D

And yes, it probably would have been 2 ready meals for him, plus something totally unsuitable like a REALLY hot curry for the little one lol!

That's an old trick - oh dear little Tommy won't eat the curry, better not let it go to waste, Daddy will help him finish it. ;)

Lol, he's full of those kinds of tricks - like washing up and 'accidentally' breaking a couple of glasses, so that I'll tell him not to wash up in future, or 'accidentally' washing my clothes on boil wash, so they come out 3 sizes smaller, and I'll ban him from using the washing machine. Oh, I shouldn't moan, he's a lovely man, and will do anything for anyone....but I know his little tricks hahaha!

lol I know exactly what you guys mean. Maybe it's a man thing....

Well we're home from town. Complete with new shiny xbox and 3 new games :) All the stuff we traded in came to £184!! Plus a friend met us there and gave us £20 which means that we didn't have to use our £60 credit note at all and are £11 up on when we started as they did us a deal on the console and 3 games for £195! What a result!! Means that we can get the new guitar hero for it with the credit note on friday and use the £31 from the single buggy to go towards debt as planned!!! Also means we won't have paid a single penny!!! :D

Oh and SSB.. yes that is the lucious Dani filth in my avatar... *swoon*

Oooh, good result - hope you get the other one fixed so you can sell it and make some more money towards your debts (or towards your new guitar? ;)) too, that would be a brilliant outcome.

I've had a *great* idea, put the new xbox and games on ebay, use the profit towards debt apart from £10 for Sarah = 5 new items of clothing and £10 for Steve to go round a few jumble sales and buy himself a set of Ludo and draughts. ;)

lol that'd go down well! But tomorrow if the weather's nice I'm going to go down the market and treat myself to another £2 item of clothing. :P
