Morning all! Had a follow up doctors appointment for the PND today and the doctor is really happy with my progress. He wants to keep me on the pills a bit longer and see him again before my next pack runs out, after which all being well he's going to start weaning me off them. Happy days!
Also we THINK we can get a new 360 today. We've got some stuff we can trade in plus a £60 gamestation credit note which should come to the cost of a new xbox 360 core system. Going to go into town later and fingers crossed it'll come to enough. If not we can put £31 towards it as we'll be getting that back on friday when the woman comes to pick up the single buggy.
Wish us luck!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Given you stressed over spending £2 on clothes at the weekend, is the xbox really that essential to be replaced today - particularly as you haven't heard back from the letter, isn't it worth waiting to see if the letter pays off first?0 -

Well the thought is that it could take ages for anything to happen about the letter so we may as well get a new one as we actually won't be spending any money on it. Then if HMV do repair or replace the other one we can sell it on ebay for a tidy profit.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

I guess if it's not real money. Not having a dig but...
:rotfl: Is someone not going to be happy until he gets his favourite toy back.... hmm so he's got his driving lessons, his £4 a day lunch habit, his new flat screen gaming telly and now a shiny new xbox....... Are you really still feeling guilty about the £2 skirt and the £3.50 charity shop jeans?0 -
I couldn't agree with Barnaby-bear more. TBH I've wondered for a while whether Steve's heart is in this DFW thing as yours. How old is he?0

I think a lot of relationships are like that though - my hubby says all the right things about being debt free and cutting back etc, but when it comes down to it, if I sent him shopping on his own for bread, milk and fruit, he would still come back with Pringles, a DVD, and 3 ready meals lol!
Edit - sorry, hope that doesn't sound like I'm making a judgement about your relationship - I'm not, just saying if his heart isn't fully in it, I know how you feel!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
