Oooh, Bronnie, saw the pictures of your poor wee car. Hope you are ok. Despite the fact that the daft cow that hit you had no insurance, cars and bits and pieces on the car can be fixed and/or replaced, you however, cannot.
Did you get the police involved? Hope so, for your sake, so that the stupid ***** in the other car gets her lack of insurance looked in to.**This space is available to rent**0 -
Aye, that bloke was you in your previous post in this thread, I even quoted it for you, and oddly enough in another thread on here you did say you're off the road.
Wasn't the benefits board, but you've been on there a lot too.
Some of what you post could be helpful, but at the end of the day, anyone can post what they want, claim what they want, but we can also believe what we read or not too. If you want to carry on, you go for. It's been entertaining, but it's not helping the op.
You're boring me now.:rotfl:
Seems you are doing what i said you would and have searched every thread I have posted on, still in ten or twenty years or even when I am retired my viewpoint in this instance is still more relevant than the opinion of a troll like yours.
No matter what changes you go through in life your experience, skills and your ability to adivse others using these to assist others will continue, you however will continue to be a "Google Troll", advising people wrongly as you don't have such things to fall back on, and because of this you feel the need to try and divert peoples attention from the basic fact that you have not shown in any way why your opinion is more valid than mine, or in fact why your opinion should be considered anything more than fantasy, concocted up in your own mind after using Google.
It is nice to see you continuing your personal attacks, as that will really be able to confirm the opinion I have had about you without having to spend more than a few seconds of my valuable time.
There is another term that you may be aware of that seems appropriate, WALT.0 -

The price difference warrants maybe less mileage being acheived over the tyres life with the Kumho but still breaking even on a cost per mile but I want the performance throughout the life of the tyre like I've experienced with the Primacys and Goodrichs..
So I've priced the 3 this morning again and I'm going Goodrich.
Mich Primacy HP at £78
Kumho at £55
Goodrich G-Grips at £58
I've never used the G-Grips but have had excellent wear from Profiler2's in the past on the Mercedes I had... they matched everything the Pilots did. My Other Vectra is on Profiler 2s allround aswell... that fitment being based on how well they performed on the Mercedes...
I had the Profiler tyre on a Mondeo a couple of years ago, only had the car a few months so don't know much about wear rates, but they seemed OK, but saving £20 a corner isn't to be sniffed at, but the nagging doubt I would have is that the extra £80 a set would be money well spent.
My main reasoning for using Toyo Proxes is that fact that when I was a boy racer they were one of the best at a very good price, purchased then at the original Ripspeed store in Tottenham.
And the fact that I can't justify, at the moment, the almost double cost of putting on Michelin Primacy tyres, I could have Michelin Energy, but they are somewhat compromised in outright grip, they still last well and are a good quality tyre.
Though the extra grip of the Proxes still gets my vote, they also perform fairly well in the deep snow we had recently.
Though no matter what anybody says I still wouldn't put P6000's on any car I had, I still find them to be less than grippy in the wet and cold conditions.0 -
Didn't read it all.
Hope you are OK after the crash and that the Police take the other driver off the road for good.
Always put new tyres on the front. no wait, back, maybe front, or maybe one new one on the back and one on the front - what a lot of opinions.
I may have missed it but what about cars with different front and rear sized tyres? Or if it is a 4x40 -
After reading through this thread I am glad it was not a difficult question posed by the OP:A0

Solution (not aiming at anyone in particular) = stop being so f*cking British, dust off the wallet and buy new tyre's as and when they're needed. In truth, by swapping fronts to backs all your doing is being tight with cash..... You'll simply end up buying 4 tyre's next time instead of 2, in which case due to costs, your far more likely to buy cheap ditch finders anyway, which would then be a far greater safety concern than which tyre goes on the front or back!“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I would fit whatever Nissan recommends..always fit tyres in matching pairs (make/thread/size/wear) on the same axle....if your punctured tyre is beyond repair I would suggest finding a full size rim from yhour nearest scrap yard, so you'll have a full size spare which will not preclude you from traveling at more than 50mph (where legal to do so), which is the restriction of space saving spares.Nobody is perfect, except me of course
Please note: my opinions are mine alone, nobody asked me to have them, obliged me to have them or even coerced me to have them, they are mine but they are free, so if you want to share them I will not charge you for it!

.........
I may have missed it but what about cars with different front and rear sized tyres?
Then you have the chance of being totally !!!!!!ed if the punture happens to the tyre which is not replaceble by the spare.....saying that...most cars that have different size tyres in width not circumference.........as far as 4X4s go.......always fit the newest pair to the rear axle......Nobody is perfect, except me of course
