Good luck with that. I have at 11.45 at night finished sorting my mums room enough that she can now sleep in there. Still cr*p on the floors though - tomorrow is another day! Can't get over how upset I am about these poor men at the Pike River Mine. Very very sad. Feeling all weepy even though I don't personally know anyone.
Just pants thing to happen just before christmas

Tragedies like that really do put things into perspective, Chev - especially after the euphoria of the Chilean miners just recently.

    Hi Hypno,

I am a lurker on your diaries and not one to post too often, mainly because I can't keep up!

Just wanted to say how amazing it is that you are a few short weeks away from your DFD, having "stalked" you for the past few years I know I am not alone in thinking that you, more than anyone, deserves every bit of happiness that comes your way :D

Anyway, sorry things are stressful at the moment. I have recently moved and found it just awful! Not necessarily the packing but all the other "stuff" that goes with it, hope you get through it all unscathed and have a merry christmas in your new home :santa2:

thank you Imelda! Just got home from late night shopping - did a reasonable amount, so am pleased with that. At least I have made a start on Christmas.

my cleaner is coming tomorrow and the place is an absolute hole with boxes and "stuff" everywhere - goodness knows how she will survive without walking out! I will have a little blitz in a few mins.....

And I am shattered - and must look so, as one of my colleagues asked if I had been out on the lash last night. Gee thanks! :o

the shops weren't as busy as I expected - I think the snow was keeping people away. I am glad that I have made a start - it takes the pressure off a bit.

I've opened a bottle of wine, and made a start on the housework.....I'll do a little bit more before I sit and enjoy a glass, then will get cracking when I get up in the morning I think.
