Hi all, just popping on to second what the rest have said Hypno about the huge changes you're going through. SOOO easy to fester on the couch of a night in the winter, and no one would blame you if you did.

ONCE you're in the new house you can look at social things, expanding your circle and finding a new 'thing' for you. When I moved back I tried all sorts, some succesfully, some not but you're right to try different stuff. What I will also say is that with all the changes with the 'stuff' and everything you've done this year it MAY take longer than you think before you feel like yourself again and the yourself you find may not be the one you were before, but that's okay. Who knows where you're going and what you'll do but you will as always do it with such style and dignity Hypno, and that's why we're all rooting for you.

On a lighter note if you need ideas about fun and men...I'm your lady!!!! XXX

Ouch surfbabe - that is not great news, although at least it should sort out a problem which will be better news in the long run.

Thanks for all your comments - am just having one of *those* days, or a few of those days, when I look back and wonder "why", and that is a question that is asked of all sorts of things, and I will never know the answers so I really ought to just stop thinking it, because it makes me cross, and bothered etc. then I look forward and I think "how" among other things, and it all just gets too much,

Throw in the general tiredness, the huge stuff that is happening, and winter, and I am generally feeling sorry for myself and a bit tearful to boot.

But as you all, quite rightly, say, it is only to be expected. I do sometimes expect too much from myself, and I am learning to take notice of the way I feel and not to let it linger, but sometimes with the best will in the world, the emotion wins!

Still, I enjoyed skiing tonight, the slope was mega fast because of the snow, and it was a real adrenaline rush. Am cold through though, so going to make a hot water bottle, and go to bed. At least I don't have sky (very MSE of me) so can't be tempted to stay up and watch the Ashes.....

Gailey, no I didn't do a DMP or IVA - have done it all the long way, interest, charges et al. It has been a long slog, but the light is at the end of the tunnel.

I hope you have all had a good evening - and thanks again.

Everyone has bad days/periods...perhaps it's a subconscious thing about leaving this stage of your life and all the things that have happened in that house is catching up with you (good and bad).

I'm sure you will spring back to your usual, active self soon.

In the meantime, give yourself a hug and take care. :)

    Hi hypno
Sorry you have been feeling a bit low and tearful. i would agree with the others you have been through an awful lot this year, and it is still ongoing. It will take a lot out you, emotionally. I am sure moving into the house will help, but at the moment you have another stressfull event - moving going on at the same time as the ongoing the stress of the divorce.

    Hope youa re better soon

Morning - another night of disturbed sleep for me, but it could have been worse, so I will take my berocca, drink plenty of coffee during the day and will survive.

My teaching money should be in the bank today, which will get moved to a savings account when I get to work. I have also made a start on planning Saturday's workshop, which will hopefully take some pressure off me tomorrow and will allow me to get on with house/packing stuff when I have a day off.

Tonight DD and I are going to go late night shopping and make a start on Christmas - and will use some of our clubcard deals to have a spot of dinner when we are out, which will feel like a bit of a treat.

No overnight snow for us, but plenty seems to be across the country - enjoy it, but stay warm and take care when driving xx
