Yes, am off tomorrow - hair cut in the morning, then clearing the shed I think.....a bit more packing, and preparing for my lesson on Saturday.

Hahahaha, DT!! Actually, I would quite liked to have heard that programme - was it good? We have quite a few feisty women in our history books!

There's a Norwich woman called Julian? She must have taken some stick at school...

    It was a good programme

Julian was an Anchoress so she didn't have much trouble with bullying :rotfl::rotfl:I suppose a bit like sending yourself to Coventry :)

My friend Andrea (who's father was a vicar, so perhaps no surprises really) had Julian as her middle name. She was forever having to explain that it was correct and not Julienne or something similar!

I've opened a bottle of wine, and made a start on the housework.....I'll do a little bit more before I sit and enjoy a glass, then will get cracking when I get up in the morning I think.

 crikey at the hour you get up Hypno isn't that a bit early for wine  I know 'it's 5 o'clock somewhere' but isn't that stretching it a bit;)

Anybody ever read Katherine, by Anya Seton? About Katherine Swynford, who ended up marrying John of Gaunt ... Julian of Norwich makes an appearance in that, she's always sounded magical to me :)
