Good morning everyone.
Jingles didn't do too badly last night. I think he was tired after the long journey.
Thanks to Rusty and Dragonllew. Jingles decorated the tree with underwear. DD was hysterical with laughter. :rotfl:I :heartpuls M.S.E.

Hi everyone, I'm going to write Buddy's christmas cards to his friends tonight so if anyone wants me to send their elf a card can you please PM me your address, your elf's name and the name of the child they belong to as I'm going to include this too to make it seem more "real"!
My boyf got sent offshore on Monday with no notice so a lot of the things I had planned for Buddy have gone out the window now. My DD is 15 months old so doesn't really understand and it was Daddy who was going to "find" things with her that Buddy had hidden. I can't hide stuff myself then find it can I!! Oh well there's always next year I suppose and she will understand better. I took a photo of DD and Buddy on Skype last night talking to Daddy. It's really cute!
Just hope he makes it back for Christmas

Europa - I hope OH makes it back soon. Maybe you could do other things with DD instead. Homebargains had some lovely colouring books for 79p with big pictures. Let her have a scribble. It's something you can save to show OH when he gets home.
Get some cookie cutters in christmassy shapes and some playdoh or make paper chains the ones with the glued ends - they should be easy enough with your help. Perhaps you could just do silly things, like hiding the elf, in the fridge because they like to be cold, in bed because he is sleepy.
Still continue with it - you're still making memories.

It's fine! When you click on it, it gets bigger! HTHI :heartpuls M.S.E.

Elfie decided to go flying last night and got tangled up in the light! took ds 20 minutes to find him this morning after me telling him to turn on/off the light 3 times haha. He thought it was very funny when he eventually looked up and saw him hanging from the light. Pictures to go on facebook later today (don't know how to post pics on here) Hope all your elves and kids are having lots of fun! ps, thanks amy for adding elfie to the list x0

Lovely to read about what all the elves are up to!
I'm currently off work due to the snow and our elf Elvis is sat in the dining room.
Only problem is that my step-daughters who were due to come to our house yesterday (perfect timing for elf-things!) could not come due to the snow and I don't know if they will even be coming today. Just feeling a bit deflated as I have spent weeks planning Elvis's arrival and activities and getting excited about it all!0 -

We'll be writing ours at the weekend and posting Monday, including Bertie's.
After a busy first day, Holly and Buddy weren't too bad last night. When kids came down this morning they couldn't see the elves, DD1 was worried they might have gone back to the North Pole! Turns out they were sitting in a tin of Roses on the kitchen counter, eating them! DS had planned to give Buddy his advent calendar choc today, but only gave him half, as he'd already had lots of chocs!
DD1 has taken Holly to school today. We had snow in the night so planned for Buddy to play on the swing in the garden, but then suddenly realised there would be my footprints in the snow, all the way there and back, a bit of a giveaway! So have tiptoed along the only bit of ground snow free, next to the wall of the house, leaning over precariously and trying to balance whilst making Buddy and Snowy footprints in the snow, and also a mini snowball fight. I managed to only make one footprint myself which I quickly brushed over, if any neighbours saw me they probably thought I'd gone loopy!:rotfl:
Buddy has now come in and will be making snowshake (white chocolate milkshake with marshmallows on top) for when kids get home from school.0 -

Who does your OH work for? My OH is supposed to be offshore tomorrow, but it has been put back a day and will go offshore on Saturday providing its not put back again! He works for PSN!
Our elf tried to make breakfast for the kids, and ended up in the washing machine with all of the bowls, spoons, and 2 cups ... my son who is 8 calls the rice crispies multigrain cat biscuits (something he has always called them as they look like them) so Jolly sugar socks put a small box of coco pops in the washing machine, and then swapped the bag of multigrain and filled the box with cat biscuits! pics to follow later on as JSS got stuc in the washing machine drawer ... need to have a nice suprise tomorrow as we have had 2 troublesome days!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Jingles has just made DD some jelly in a snowman shaped mould. (From Hobbycraft 27p there were snowflake ones too). She can have that after tea. He also has a surprise of a new Monster High T shirt for non - uniform day tomorrow.

No arrival yet but getting close, almost finished Merrys outfit and DS received a mysterious letter from Santa saying that he had sent an elf but it had been thrown off the Advent Express train so was running late and that all would be explained in a letter santa sent with him when he arrives. Hoping that arrival is tommorow during DS' school PD day then maybe he can put the decs up for us on Friday night - hope he doesnt confuse pants for baubles like your elves
