Well we had a slight change of plan this morning due to the fact I woke up late to my alarm.:eek: Luckily I had painted my husband's toenails and fingernails last night with various colours and had fully intended to get JJ Jingles to paint his face with loads of makeup, but as we heard the kids were awake I managed to grab the mascara and give myself and husband mustaches and beards, along with big black eyebrows.:D

I got up to go turn the hall light on just as my daughter was coming out of their room and she screamed with laughter when she saw my face and told her brother who did the same and they went to tell their dad what JJ did when they saw his face and broke into hysterical laughter and then noticed his toes and nails.:rotfl:

It might not have gone completely to plan but still went well.:j:cool:

Elvis arrived on Wed night with the kids advent calendar, a Xmas book and some magical Elf chocs. The kids were over the moon as we had just moved in Wed afternoon and the place was mayhem. but the doorbell went at 6pm and Elvis was outside.
I've not had time to plan much mischief but he's crept through to DD's bed the climbed the Xmas tree.

sounds like everyone is having fun!

as for music/singing i went and bought instruments from £1 shop llast week, to go with babies drum and maracas etc so they could have a band, not sure what night it will be!

they were found playing on the fruit machine, and had even managed to win some chocolate coins!!! pics be on facebook later. PLUS there were pics on camera of the elves on facebook and playing games on my laptop!!! so now the kids no they are on facebook i have added them as friends, makes life bit easier.

Morning everyone!

Not sure who are the biggest kids here - us or the children! I wish my parents had something like this when I was younger - it would have given me such lovely memories and I know when our children are older, they'll remember this and how much fun it was!

My poor DS was sick everywhere last night so I nearly didnt do anything. In the end, I put up the tree Sunny left last year (little one from Paperchase that I decorated with toadstools - red with white spots) next to his bed and put sunny in his sleeping bag next to my DS. I also put an elf chocolate in the tree (not sure who suggested these chocs but thankyou!). My DS was ecstatic as he woke in the night to go to the toilet and woke me to say Sunny had slipped into bed with him!

He hasnt eaten the chocolate yet on account of his tummy!

Little_evo - Think that's hilarious painting hubbys nails and painting on 'taches!!! Might try it tonight on myself!!!

Nic2075 - Hope you are settling into your house ok. Superwoman to move and do the elf too!!

Muffins, Fletty & Amy - The idea of having a band put together is brilliant!!!

My DS is staying at his aunt and uncles this weekend so I am having to send the elf and rely on them to do something with him. I did send them your list, Amy, but not sure what they will do!

Just wanted to pop and say Hi.
I have a secret elf visiting for my children, she turned up last night by ringin the door bell. it took a while to work out what it was as the doorbell had been set differently. she turned up with 3 little stockings for the children. her name is sal sally twinkletoes or sal sal. my 8 year old son and 5 year daughter are absolutely gobsmacked and 100% sure shes the real deal, my 8 year old wrote a note for her saying welcome to our home thank you for coming lol, and she even replied saying thank you. during her first night she fetched the bathroom mirror into the lounge, sat in front of it and had all the childrens jewellery on. she also had a lipstick in her hand which she had used to draw over ds's face whilst he was asleep... our elf is going to be very naughty i think, my dd didnt want to go school as she was worried about leaving her on her own in the day, she then suggested taking her to school too, i said poor elf would be to scared of all the different children ... hee hhe

this is our second year of visits last year we had Tony Tight Pant the elf visit and we had amazing fun!!!

My 3 Kids loved it and are excited about this year too!!


i would love to have him visit my class at school ( i am LSA in KS!) does anyone out there have a class elf?

Hi i am new to this thread ,its brilliant ,found it yesterday and ordered my elves last night! i'm so excited lol, not sure my 3 year old & 3 month old will be as excited.
So in anticipation of my elves arrival have set up a facebook for Nipper sparklysocks & his sister Holly sparklysocks if any elves would be their friends or add me thankyou:) ps would you mind saying your from mse on friend requests thanks

the elves have moved from under tree - there is 1 in each of the older 2 rooms in their dressing up stuff!!! this is a hint to them about tonight - the elves are going to wear their own size dressing up clothes as the kids stuff was too big!!! PLUS the boys will have an army outfit left for them to wear tomorrow! (no chocolates tomorrow).
