i'm soooo glad the elves are a hit with everyone. my neighbour thinks its great but says she hasnt got the time to do it.

why dont you suggest that the teacher has a "classroom elf" next xmas?

i now have 3 soliders/army running round my house thanks to the elves leaving hem army outfits!!! they were amazed that the elves had dressing up outfits THAT FITTED THEM!

Our elf had a laid back night and apparently found a load of Christmas dvds to watch all night and even brought the kids the Polar Express dvd they have been wanting, he was perfectly good expect when we picked him up we found elf poo again.:rotfl:lol

Hi, I have been following this thread and we had our elf arrive on the 1st (Dennis Twinkle Toes) along with his friend Rudy the reindeer. My boys are 8 and 4 and to my surprise its my 8 yr old that is completely taken with it. I think that my 4yr old thinks all his toys are real so another couple of 'real' toys are nothing new!!
It has made me feel a bit bad that I didn't spread the word around the parents, DS1 has been taking the journal into school and all the boys have been writing in it asking for an elf. Next year I have a feeling there may be a few more elves around!
All I can say is a big thanks you to everyone on this thread (and the other ones) for all your brilliant ideas, this has made christmas really magical in our house this year - I can't wait to see what he will get up to over the next few weeks. :-)

Well last night it was my works christmas night out and when I came home I have conjunctivies (sp) so could hardley see when i got in!!! so all Peppermint and Reggie did was eat a whole box of green and black chocolates that I got for my birthday they where ideal as there individually wrapped so I hid choc and left the wrappers and empty box with them plus a couple of half eaten chocolates lol.

When DS got up I heard him so "oh no your going to be in really big trouble peppermint, mammy was saving them! quick Emily help me hide the wrappers" lol

bertie and merry received a card today from eggnog tinsel-toes and say thank you. x the kids were amazed that another elf knew where bertie and merry were!

My DD said that too. She got new clothes for non uniform day at school. SHe was the envy of every 7/8 year old as I had a Monster High T shirt specially made. :j

Amy and Europa - my card has got delayed due to the weather, (daren't go out) but I have put in a little present in the envelope, ready for posting on Monday. :A

DD received her card off Bertie and Merry this morning. Thankyou so much.

not sure what to do tonight - i'm thinking they can go and meet berties best friend - my 3rd elf! and bring rudolph back with them as well! - then they can all be playing candyland board game monday morning and boys can play it after school! IF they go tonight they wont be back until tomorrow night.

We put our tree up today however we have decided not to decorate it until tomorrow conveniently.;) Looks like JJ jingles is going to decorate it for us with socks and underwear.:D

plans have changed, not going to meet him until midnight tomorrow..... so now trying to work out what they are going to do! LOL! (have loads of ideas etc but dont know what to do!) :rotfl:
