Our elf will be here in a few hours when DH is home from work! I have been in to town today and am keeping my eye out for elves! B & M have a santa shelf sitter(very moveable though for 2.99) which isnt in traditional Santa colours so could easily be an elf, and I also noticed the 99p store have something similar advertised in their window so there are cheap elves out there!

Picked up a dogs santa hat(doll size) for 69p in B&M but DH thinks my stripy effort is better so keeping this for my nieces elf :-)

    Meet Merry Jingle-Snow!

Thanks for the Christmas card for my elves yummymummyamy!

ahem, sorry, I mean Bertie Elfkins and Merry Sugarsocks! :D

I will be writing mine over the weekend and will post them out on monday so if anyone else wants to do swapsies, please PM me your address.

My elves haven't got up to any mischief yet.. the 25p toys I got from Hawkins Bazaar for the advent calendars have gone down a treat.

Will probably leave my two little ones some crafty bits over the weekend and then next week they will start being naughty! :D

My ds has been loving Crackers Frosty-Toes but i am not sure he was 100% convinced as he has asked why other children have never mentioned elves coming to stay and we have never know about it before.

So this afternoon we sat together and went on www.theelfontheshelf.com registered Crackers and looked at all the information on there. This has shown him that there are others out there who have elves to stay and he hasn't stopped hugging and talking to him since. I think i will also join in with the Xmas card swop as this may help to convince him as well. Going to order a moonpig card from Crackers to ds tonight as well.

If anyone wants to card swop PM me your details,

My neice loves her elf and doesn't stop talking about him - and it's only day 3! My nepew isn't understanding the 'no touch' rule (18 months) and so poor twinkle-toes is being dragged around the house!

my sister was initially sceptical about the elf visiting her and how much work it would be - but is now loving it - I have pre-written all diary entries so no tough work for her - but she has already requested a few extra's as she is willing to be more adventurous

Oh, and I have had to write a letter for my neice's best friend who is v upset that she hasn't got an elf to visit (apparently quite a fw kids at school have been asking why they don't have one!) so he is going to 'pop in' to her house to say hello!

I can't believe how well Twinkle-Toes has been recieved!
    Mort at highest - June 2008 - £171,000 - Daily Int 5.9% = £27.64:eek:
    Offset Mort - Nov 2010 £150,299- Daily Int 3.75% = Nov £15.44
    Mortgage Jan 2012 - £136,000 - Daily Int 3.75% - £3.10

You're welcome to show your children Holly Berry & Buddy Jingles Blog, web address is under my user name or on Amy's website list near beginning of thread.

DS took Buddy and the journal to school with him yesterday. His wonderful teacher really got involved and asked all the children to whisper a christmas wish in Buddy's ear. When I went to collect DS she told me how great she thought it was, and how she hoped when she had kids she'd be the sort of mum who would do something like that. She said all the other teachers loved Buddy too and said the same. I actually got a bit tearful and then she started welling up to! The elves are really spreading their Christmas magic :)
