  • Oh I too love reading this thread! DS took Merry to school today to spend the day with his Y3 class. Well... to say he was mischevious is an understatement! He kept writing messages, stealing the TAs coat, pinching biscuits and lollies from the cupboard and even drank the TA's drink! This is just some of the stories I was told as the kids from DS sons class surrounded me to tell me what he had been doing!!!

I hope he has a good excuse for this behaviour, I'm thinking it may be something to do with all the free sweets and drinks in the North Pole culture ;)

Do the elves know you can get green cistern blocks that will last longer than food colouring...?

Our elf played on the Wii last night and made his own Wii Mii, then he drew moustaches on us all when we were asleep and was caught red handed with my eyeliner in his sleeping bag this morning...!

You wont need to hunt :) You can get them in supermarkets round by the toilet bleach, little round soap looking things. Pop them in cistern et voila!:T If you have any problems with your toilet afterwards you will have to just check the block isn't jamming the stopcock, which has happened to me, not even a minor job to sort - plumbers hate them for this reason lol :-)

thats cool, will only leave it few days. BUT OH replaced the whole inside of the cistern after 1 of the kids unscrewed it and broke it!

the elves will be back tonight with the 3rd elf and a reindeer! :D

  • Well since sally twinkletoes arrival it has certainly been entertaining. my ds age 8 just loves her to bits and will not put a foot wrong lol ( best not speak to soon here)
my 5 year old likes to carry her around a lot! so its been difficult for her to get up to mischief sometimes. my 2 year old likes hunting for her and does recognise when she is missing etc
heres some things she has been up to.
the first day she landed on doorstep with stockings for children.
that night she put on makeup on ds whilst asleep. whilst dressing herself up in front of mirror.
we then went away for a few nights, she came with us. we could not find her in the morning and the weetabix had dissapeared. we found her in the bath!!! eating it!!!
she has also been known to hide in tree, she was found after an hour hunt around! 5 minutes after she was found she was then found again sitting on top of the tree trying to be a fairy.
she has also moved from place to place when we are all in the same room not even dh seen her move.. hee hee
she has been cought eating chocolates.
when we got in from school yesterday we found her sitting in ds'rs bedroom on his computer chair with his dressing gown wrapped around her sending an email to santa! and registering himself in the hall of elves... lol
she had also put a photo of herself on his desktop and saved it as smelly sally .. hee hee
I 'm going to register her on facebook i think so would anybody like to be my friend, only elves please :o)
this is just a bit of the silly fun we have been getting up to, even my dh is joining in he finds it so funny.
Hope you're all having just as much fun, this is our first year and i think its great. x
  • my elves name on facebook is sally twinkletoes, she is a santa elf with a red hat and yellow hair please add me or let me know you're name and i will add you. thank you Sally looks forward to meeting some of her friends x
  • At our house JJ Jingles decided the room upstairs with a 'throne' in it needed to look more festive apparently and our kids found the entire toilet decorated with Christmas wrapping paper along with lights and bows around it. The kids never laughed so hard and so loud. They were even more thrilled when they saw elf poo in the floor. I think he will be toilet trained soon however.;) I'm not sure who is enjoying this more, the kids or the parents.:rotfl:

Tonight I think he going to hide in the fridge to remind him of the North Pole although it feels pretty cold here today, along with some chocolates of the kids he is going to eat.
  • well bertie and merry arrived back last night with rudolph and berties best friend!!! AND loads of "magic snow" (stuff from poundland - bits of plastic shreds!) i am going to be finding it for weeks i tell you. they were all on my windowsill in the sleigh - the only reason they were found was my cat moved the curtain during the night!

not sure if they going camping tonight or going to be sat playing candyland board game.

cant do anything during the day as middle son off school with croup n throat infection which are affecting his asthma as well!
