This is my 1st post in the thread, but have been trying to keep an eye on it for the last couple of weeks. Thank you to whoever came up with this idea, I think it is fantastic. I have spent the last couple of weeks getting a few things together and our elf arrived tonight.

It was the 1st night of my DS play at school, and we came home to find our elf - Scrummy Cracker-Noodles sat on the sofa, along with his stocking containing his passport, elf report, journal, letter from santa, snowman & reindeer poop, elf dvd and a bag of fake snow. DS is 4 and I don't think he knew what to make of him at 1st, all he would say was "I didn't put it there!" Scrummy had already written in the journal and said that he had arrived on a sleigh pulled by Rudolf who had pood in our garden, but Scrummy had collected it all and put it into bags and said that it was quite yummy along with the snowman poo!

He then went to bed to find a small Christmas tree in his bedroom covered in loo roll! Either he was really tired or thinks that Scrummy might give Santa a bad report on him, because he went straight to sleep, something he hardly ever does these days.

Oh and DS insisted on saving some of the snowman poop for Scrummy, along with a mince pie.

Scrummy has his own facebook page. I will go through and try to add everyone from here, but if anyone wants to add him you can find him as "Scrummy Cracker-Noodles"

    Can't wait until tomorrow now!

Edit: Was sending friend requests on FB and don't know how but it switched to "my" account - so it is possible that I have sent requests to elves using my real account - sorry if that is the case, please ignore them.

Oh I love the Christmas-wrapped toilet idea!

In our house, Jingle Stripeylegs has been up to all sorts including climbing the Christmas tree and hiding in DS's underwear drawer with a pair of pants on his head and his antlers sticking through the leg holes (he's a reindeer not an elf!).

But the poo has been the biggest hit, not surprisingly, and we have been getting questions from DS about why there hasn't been any for the past couple of days (we ran out of chocolate raisins) and so I've been having to crack on that he's constipated and so we've given him a carrot tonight to get his system going!!!!

o how i wish you could just like a post!! you made me lol x

  • DS is off school ill for second day in a row, makes it hard for elves to get up to mischief at home, but luckily they managed to sneak off to work with DH this morning! It's the first time DH has been 'in charge' of the elves, now I'm wondering what they are getting up to:rotfl:

yummy-mummy-amy - you could let kids sleep downstairs at weekend, they are bound to fall asleep eventually. It would give you the chance to have the elves do something big in their bedrooms, that you wouldn't normally be able to do if they were sleeping in there.

  • Last night JJ Jingles gathered some friends around, mainly the kids toys and had a big snowball fight using white and pink marshmallows.:D My daughter told me that she heard him throwing them about, bless her.
  • bertie went fishing in the fish tank! jingle-jangle turned the loo water green! merry found a dry wipe pen and wrote/drew pics on the mirror.

apparently the reason the toilet water is green is because jingle saw my eldest bum during the night when he went toilet! LOL! i had to laugh when he said this.
