  • I've added our 'guest' elf Bo Ribbons to facebook as dd1 was asking to see her on there, expect some requests soon!

Love reading what everyone's elves are up to. Having lots of fun with our elves, kids are really attached to them, slightly worried what they are going to be like when they have to go! We had Bo stay for the weekend, but then she had to go back to her own family, so was good practice for the kids saying goodbye!

Oh I love the Christmas-wrapped toilet idea!

In our house, Jingle Stripeylegs has been up to all sorts including climbing the Christmas tree and hiding in DS's underwear drawer with a pair of pants on his head and his antlers sticking through the leg holes (he's a reindeer not an elf!).

But the poo has been the biggest hit, not surprisingly, and we have been getting questions from DS about why there hasn't been any for the past couple of days (we ran out of chocolate raisins) and so I've been having to crack on that he's constipated and so we've given him a carrot tonight to get his system going!!!!

Ah, I wish I'd thought of decorating the loo as well!!!! Makes my food colouring look a bit dull!!!!

This morning Sunny was found reading "the night before christmas" to all of the teddies on the landing, much to my DS amusement! He then slipped into DS bed while we were at Beavers. Not sure what to do tonight, but he is coming to work with me at the hospital (the girls are very excited!) and will pose with the camera... with a stethoscope, having a cup of tea in the staff room, playing with some syringes. Obviously i wont take any photos of my patients!!

    :D

This is my 1st post in the thread, but have been trying to keep an eye on it for the last couple of weeks. Thank you to whoever came up with this idea, I think it is fantastic. I have spent the last couple of weeks getting a few things together and our elf arrived tonight.

It was the 1st night of my DS play at school, and we came home to find our elf - Scrummy Cracker-Noodles sat on the sofa, along with his stocking containing his passport, elf report, journal, letter from santa, snowman & reindeer poop, elf dvd and a bag of fake snow. DS is 4 and I don't think he knew what to make of him at 1st, all he would say was "I didn't put it there!" Scrummy had already written in the journal and said that he had arrived on a sleigh pulled by Rudolf who had pood in our garden, but Scrummy had collected it all and put it into bags and said that it was quite yummy along with the snowman poo!

He then went to bed to find a small Christmas tree in his bedroom covered in loo roll! Either he was really tired or thinks that Scrummy might give Santa a bad report on him, because he went straight to sleep, something he hardly ever does these days.

Oh and DS insisted on saving some of the snowman poop for Scrummy, along with a mince pie.

Scrummy has his own facebook page. I will go through and try to add everyone from here, but if anyone wants to add him you can find him as "Scrummy Cracker-Noodles"

    Can't wait until tomorrow now!

Edit: Was sending friend requests on FB and don't know how but it switched to "my" account - so it is possible that I have sent requests to elves using my real account - sorry if that is the case, please ignore them.
