hi lexuslass, have a great christmas and a very happy new year. our brains are frazzled too, dd just reminded us that we haven't left out mince pie and carrot, or sprinkled reindeer food :eek:. fuzzy and chilly are next to the christmas tree, ready for santa to collect them. someone mentioned sending holiday postcards in july-august, sounds like a great idea?

i would be up for sending a few postcards, we dont go abroad though

Hi everyone -= I've been so busy during December I haven't posted once.

Last year my sister took our elf on holiday with her, and got photos of it lounging by the pool. drinking cocktails etc. She went with a friend, and for a pair of thirty somethings, they had rather too much fun with my elf. Let's just say he was the talk of Goa for a couple of weeks. I can't show my face there ever again. The officials wouldn't stamp his passport but she brought back some local stamps and we stuck them in, along with a photo.

I just wanted to say thanks for all the cards. DD was so excited everytime one came. Thanks too to Amy, for running this thread, while ill, and with the housefire and everything.

It's going to be so lonely without any mischeif, but I'll soon get used to it. OH was only saying this morning, he just gets used to them being here, and they're off again.

Anyway enough of my chattering. Merry Christmas everyone, and I wish you a very happy and healthy new year.

Well done everyone - you kept the magic for another year.

well the elves have been and gone again, but will be back in 11months! :T

has anyone bought any bits ready for them? not had chance myself as when i have been to town i have had 1 or the other of the older 2 with me. but i have ordered few bits online! and i do have plenty of ideas.

I just cant wait any longer I need to start getting things for Patch & Holly's visit in December, so I have just ordered some Christmas DVD's I got Prep & Landing and Merry Madagascar, thatn will do for now, but it wont be long before I order more bits!!

my boxes have bits in and i keep adding to them! i'm trying to make a calendar for them to leave for the boys at the mo, not as easy as it sounds!

I have just bought the adopt a herd of reindeers posted on here from Amazon as a gift from Rudi Gingersnap for our littlies and starting to think up plans for her visit.

Rudi has just set up her facebook page (set up as a fictional carachter) so needs other elves to 'like' her page because she cant make friends as such!! - she looks forward to chatting with other elves about their plans!!
