Dark Star - Thank you so much, i have just logged on to try and hunt for this thread and there it was right at the top!!! :j

I have just bought the adopt a herd of reindeers posted on here from Amazon as a gift from Rudi Gingersnap for our littlies and starting to think up plans for her visit.

Rudi has just set up her facebook page (set up as a fictional carachter) so needs other elves to 'like' her page because she cant make friends as such!! - she looks forward to chatting with other elves about their plans!!

We only started doing this last year with an elf ds got the year before at the last minute so didn't get to do too much. DS has suddenly got into xmas mode! He wrote his christmas list and left it out. He then went to bed with his elf so he could feel if he snuck off to get the letter. I was worried that he might start doubting this year as he is 8 but it's truely still there. Anyway we went for a letter from santa instead and glitter on the door step. Tip don't sprinkle when its dark if you do check how much you tipped out before a parent drops their child off in the morning. The parent looked at me like I was crazy when ds told her it was santa.

Anyway I think I got it from here but rooftop post has some summer letters. It also has a lovely secret letter saying about 2 elves coming, so I will have to find another elf and leave that one.
  • Hi

I have only just found this thread and read about what a "Magic Elf" is. Cool idea, my kids would love it!

I own a Christmas related business that is thinking about creating some free (yes, completely free, no emails, no charges, nothing at all) tools to make printable items for your magic elf, such as a personalised passport, Sleigh licence, letter from santa etc.

The question is.........what would YOU like us to produce? It is basically anything that can be printed out from a PDF on a home computer. We will create a system to generate personalised versions for you to print out at home. But what "documentation" or other things would you want for your kids elves?

Looking forward to your cool ideas!!!

Our elves dog turned up out of the blue a couple of days ago!!

I was sure I'd packed everything away...it turned up in one of the boxes in the toyroom!!!! :o

Had to send a letter (in christmassy printed paper of course!!!) from the elves explaining that the dog is still going through the puppy stages and is still quite naughty, had caught a lift on a penguin to come and see them .. and can they please send him back!!

OH thinks I am going mad!! :D

Only last night we were talking about what "Joe" was going to get up to this year - not sure if the kids are more excited about Christmas or what their elf is going to get up too! Need to try and get a girl one similar to the one from "elf on the shelf" without having to buy another book, etc.,
