We went to see Father Christmas today and on the way home I gave dd her Elf introduction letter saying that Father Christmas had given it to me on the way out and that our first ever Elf will be coming tomorrow, we made a shoe box bed with some red felt and I will do his paperwork tonight once kids are in bed....on a side note Father Christmas not so successful for ds who is 4. On seeing Father Christmas he bolted from the grotto, once I'd caught him, as soon as FC asked what he wanted he burst into tears and said he wouldn't get anything as he'd been naughty:rotfl:I knew I shouldn't have shown him his PNP on the naughty list message last week:)

Oh I so hope so he can't seem to stay out of trouble for longer than 5 minutes, he's such a monkey, if our elf does help he may have to move in for the whole year!

Jingle Stripeylegs (trainee reindeer) is sitting on the kitchen table waiting to greet the DC in the morning. He's not got any better housetrained since last year and has left a little trail of chocolate raisin poo...

Horray! Elf fun has officially started!
The kids are so exited to see our Elves - Patch and Honey again! They are sat hugging one each on the Sofa :T

pretz - My hubby started off like that last year and by the end of December he was as bad as me and couldnt wait to get up to Elf mischief when the kids went to bed lol
  • We've had triplet elves come to visit! :D Huey, Dewey and Louie Sparkly-pants, the nephews of JJ Jingles have arrived. :D The children were stirring and we heard a commotion downstairs (dh arriving home from work but the kids didn't think about that - lol) and as soon as the door closed I have a box of bells which I shook as hard as I could and at the window the kids went looking for Father Christmas' sleigh! lol While they were looking dh sneaked upstairs and asked the kids what was going on. They said the elves must have come and ran downstairs to look and low and behold there was three of them sitting with a sack of advent calendars for the kids with a trail of snow from the door to where they sat. A great start so far. ;) lol
