christmas elf 2010

Day 1 and our elf arrived with advent calender and had tidied away toys. I was working 8-8 and missed son's reaction so phoned hubby in daytime to check everything was ok.
He asked if the elf had left mr tumble toy upside down in the tree. The elf was only going to do nice things in our house this year as son is terrible two's and has been playing up loads in past few months. Seem's the elf really does come to life, else LO was ignoring us when we told him no playing with the tree!

My girls came downstairs this morning to find Binky Tinseltoes in hat, scarf and gloves.

They each got an elf hat with pointy ears and Binky left them a note saying that their ears were not pointy enough.

Tracey I like the note Binky left! Think I might borrow your idea and use a similar note for my kids tomorrow as I have elf hats for them too!

Today the kids came down to the elves wearing new Christmas socks for the kids as they said it is getting colder outside and need something Christmassy to keep them warm.

still in the hotel, but the staff are great - they have moved him between our 2 hotel rooms, turned tv on and elf was in bed with remote and had him playing on the wii on xmas game.

last night bertie made a giant snowman from the spare pillows and fluffy white towels. he looked brill!!!


xmas card swap has cost me £20 to post them all, not jus on here but 10 to usa, australia and canada!!!

Twinkle received 3 Christmas cards today! We woke to find him in his sleeping bag surrounded by sweet wrappers! Seemed somebody ahd a midnight feast with DS's sweets! lol

Simon and sally have recieved one card from....not sure but surname is mahoney Sent 12 cards out the other day second class, will be writing the other half tomorrow night no doubt x

the original list was removed by MSE staff and lexuslass asked for everyone to re-send her their details to be added, if you didnt do this you wouldnt have been included. PM your details and i can send you 1. x

Last night Binky Tinseltoes got up to mischief. He had wrapped up some of my girls teddies in wrapping paper and they all had their heads poking out of the top which my girls found hilarious.

He left them a christmas sticker book each.

Yesterday and kids and I had put up the Christmas tree and this morning we came down to find the elves had made a zipwire from the top of the tree to the wall and one of the elves had our Christmas star on his back and in it's place they had left a angel moneybox my daughter had painted when she was two years old on top of the tree. They left us a note saying they thought the angel looked better and it really made the kids laugh.
