Have never heard of this before but am hugely excited by our Elf arriving have ordered from America so hopefully he shouldn't take long to arrive. Just need to sort out his 'papers' and think up mischief and things to do, wish I'd know about this when dd was younger, she is 7 now do you think she'll believe still?'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Hi ladies
This is my first year of having an elf (I have 3 year old twin boys and a 7 year old girl) and after reading your thread I just had to try. We went away this weekend and went to see santa at Drayton Manor. I managed to get the elf there to give my daughter the letter from santa saying the elf was coming and she was so excited as she read the letter to my boys.
Then I got my mother in law to set up the elf at home so when we got back he was waiting. She'd made a throne and covered it in glitter and chocolate and the Wii xmas game as a present, it looked fantasic. My husband and her both think I am crazy. The kids love it I am really suprised how much. I am so pleased I've done it hes so far been found reading to the soft toys with my youngest ones dummy in and in the morning he will have set up breakfast (my husband will be home at 5am so hes even getting into it now). :rotfl:
Thanks for the ideas I would have post a picture but I cant work out how?
Sirens your 7 year old will love it mine does.

Hi all, can any one help I need a passport for my new elf coming to visit my baby, the older two's elfes have one. Amy made them for me last year but cannot do them this year. Can anyone help? xxx
hi hun,
as said in PM really sorry i cant help, but if you send pinkflop a PM i know she can do them.
***************************************************
mischief has sort of started at the hotel, the elves sent the kids an email saying they would find them where ever we are and a 2 days later the received a photo xmas card under 1 of the hotel room doors with names and hotel rooms etc and "by hand" at the bottom. they were sooooo happy.
we are at hhotel for at least another weekso i have grabbed a few easy to do bits like colouring books and the wii game. BUT i had a thought - the hotel toewls are white and fluffy...... i'm going to make a giant snowman in 1 of the rooms from the towels, 1 of kds hats and socks etc!
have received the xmas card list and they will be sent in next few days, if anyone has mine on the list please still send them even though we not at home, i still can get in house to get bits etc, just cant live there at the moment. xdue to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:

ok... I think we may have to rethink this.... a few of the people on the list haven't posted on here for a while...
I know last year, I sent out about 20 cards and received about 7 or 8 back!
My post from Friday has obviously gone against forum rules and was deleted (took me flamin ages to check and double check too!!)
Anyone who wants to remain, please PM me (I have now cleared out my inbox because it was full!). I still have my original list but will leave it until Friday... anyone who hasn't PM'd me by then will be deleted and I will send the 'new' list out!
sorry people!!! x
Hi Lexuslass, I did ask to be on the list but I can't find myself am I too late now?I don't have a signature yet....0 -
My partner is going to put Binky Tinseltoes by the front door with a bag which has a letter from father christmas, his passport, his sleigh driving licence, his book for recording good or bad behaviour and a book so children can write in what Binky has been up to. He will then ring the doorbell and run away so my dd can find Binky there.
I think the first night Binky will not cause too much mischief as he will be tired from his journey

WooHoo, all excited for Trumpy Frosty Bells arriving tomorrow. My boys are climbing the walls with excitement, I can't wait to see their faces. He is bringing them Lego Advent Calenders so I know they will be super happy with that.
Tonight is prep night for all the mischief he will be getting up to. Not sure if it's me or the kids enjoying it more!Just little old me!0 -
