so staff are working to 2pm(and beyond)

Please Do Not Use This Failure On Royal Mail - It Is Tesco Entertainment that have let us all down simple.

They should of been despatched Friday, anyone can work that out - once again all i can say is what a disapointment Tesco.

Game just say it's with Royal Mail and we have to wait 15 days before we can claim non-receipt. Is anyone else still waiting for one from game, and has any one else received the hardened edition?.

It's nothing to do with Royal Mail. They have a perfectly good 'special delivery' service that guarantees next day delivery but at a price. That's what TE should have used instead of just gambling on 1st class post like they have.

Mine's finally arrived today, two days late. Never again Tescos Entertainment.

I have also ordered from game- standard edition and still no game 2 days late- what makes me angry is the game was dispatched from the game depot on 3/11/2010 to royal mail so its should of been here on tuesday morning. I live in oxford and this keeps happening! Now i have to wait 15 days to get a refund and get a new copy! I keep reading royal mail are not at fault but who is the royal mail for losing a delivery/not getting it to the cutomer on time or maybe the fact game.co.uk has sent out thousands of copys across the country which you dont even have to sign for- maybe someone out there received it through the wrong letter box and is enjoying playing a game i have wait months for!!

i think you are confused
the issue is Tesco(you didnt order from them) and their dispatch time
as for your game being sent unsigned for
well wasnt that something you should have thought of before ordering?
if its an issue for you

I was actually replying to a comment left above asking if anyone else had not received their game from game.co.uk- as for the game not being signed for you tell me where it says this on the website?? as it does not! i used a preorder service to secure a copy as it was going to be a big launch thats why i placed an order!
Im merely getting at the service the royal mail is offering- i understand you have a better understanding being an ex-postie but still the fact remains royal mail picked the items up on the 3/11/10 and cant manage to deliver to on a release date.
For all those people who have had similar problems from game.co.uk

Delivery lead times shown are approximate and are not guaranteed.
If you have your order sent by our express delivery service someone at the delivery address will be required to sign for it.
Express Deliveries on orders placed Monday to Thursday before 1pm are usually delivered the next working day. Orders place on Friday before 1pm will usually be delivered on Monday, unless it is a Bank Holiday.
We are unable to ship orders outside of the UK over 1000g which would include all hardware orders.

Probably not but thanks to RM there are alot of people out there who are dissapointed and angry. I just wish especially in oxford they would get there act together.

well your local mail centre was closed last year
most likely you have had 'modernising' of duties
eg

or it could be as simple as Game misprinting a batch of addresses
many a time ive seen game,HMV,amazon packets where the printing is illegible or missing large parts
