Just dropped onto the door mat! Son very happy but also a bit peeved as he is off school because he is not well and that means no PS3. I am expecting a speedy recovery. :rotfl:0

did it come with the post or courier (tnt)?0

Mine still has not arrived. I picked up a (cheaper) copy from sainsburys last night as I was bored of waiting, even got a free bottle of Mountain Dew with it!
CoD is going straight back to Tesco as soon as it comes through the door (if it does).0 -

It came with our regular post, which I have to say was rather late today and I didn't think it was coming.0 -
Really disappointed as its still not arrived even today. I made a call to tesco-entertainment and the only suggestion was that its been a little chaotic and that you'll have to wait up to 14 days for it to arrive. For some reason he did not sound confident it would arrive on Thursday either.
I asked if I would be able to buy it from my local Tesco (with PSN card) and then when the items arrive from tesco-entertainment return those with the same receipt .. but said that they could only recommend sending it back free-post. I wonder, if this would be possible? -- When all said and done, this is a high-profile launch title that becomes more of an 'experience' to be shared with friends on the launch day. I was always of the understanding that it was 'next working day' .. but the guy I spoke to simply quoted a 14-day delivery window.
*Sigh* .. tell me it'll be fine to buy from Tesco store and then return the Tesco-entertainment products with the Tesco store receipt! Having to wait another few days is not something I want to be doing ..0 -
yep seems like tesco are the only major retailer to miss delivery on or by the release date o na big scale. Really bad on the biggest game release of the year, will lose quite a lot of future games orders on the back of this I would imagine. not that they really care.
seriously not happy that it wasn't waiting for me when I finally got home from work at 9pm last night. hoping it has finally turned up today.
very very disappointed, won't be using them again and will be complaining.
mate from scotland managed to get a copy on saturday and been online on it ever since, really not funny anymore!0 -
Hi guys,
Just to let you know, my copy has JUST arrived at my house so I'm quite chuffed. I hope the rest of you fellow disgruntled Tesco customers receive it by the evening.
Cheers guys,

Post came this morning and still no game. What makes it worse is I happened to be at the door when the postie came (just about to go and get the bins in) and he sniggered and walked away!
I believe both Tesco and Royal Mail are at fault here unless something happened further up the supply chain. Tesco for not despatching early enough and RM for not pulling their fingers out and delivering within a reasonable time for first class delivery. Very grrr!
so given RM didnt get them into their system until Monday
and its coming from Jersey
Tuesday would be the first chance of delivery
this week there has been a massive hit of DSA which is pounding the mail centres and as a knock on delivery offices
the mail centres are not fully staffed in the start of the week.welcome ot the future
as you see.some are being delivered today.
that seems reasonable to me0 -

Sorry, but I find it unreasonable to expect a high-profile title to arrive any later than a release date for those that order. If this fails to happen it simply means that future purchases will be made in-store and not online; so both RM and the retailer lose out. I also find it unreasonable to expect my purchase to arrive tomorrow (Thursday) or beyond. I would not have minded had been some less important title .. but as I say, its one of the main releases of the year (and THE main release for many!) so satisfaction is at a low end with both RM and Tesco-entertainment. Maybe RM do not need the the work in future (for big launches) - in which case Tesco should deal with someone else to assure customers are satisfied.0
