Tesco Entertainment Black Ops Pre-order - Did you receive yours? Poll

Hi guys, found this thread through Google, I knew it wasn't just me so I thought I'd finally register here after being a lurker for a while!

As per the previous posts, I didn't receive Black Ops on release day after preordering with the £5 discount on 1/11. I received an email at about 3am on Sunday morning saying it had been despatched, I knew it wouldn't arrive in time as they are based in Jersey. They usually have the stock available for a good week before release so they should have despatched this on Friday! I also find it very strange that at the time of writing this 10/11, the payment for it still hasn't cleared either!

I am a little irritated about it, but I suppose a lot of us did get a great deal at £34.90 for the console versions - I just feel extremely sorry for those who weren't aware of the preorder discount code and ended up paying full price for it to not turn up on release day.

Instead of having a night on Black Ops last night as I planned to, I decided to go to the pub quiz so at least I saved myself from more anger and another night of terrible TV programming being farted into my eyes.

Hopefully today will be the day guys! When my girlfriend lets me know that it has arrived (I'm in work), I'll be sure to check back in on this thread.

Not received mine and very disappointed too. This is the first time I have used Tesco for pre-order but regulalry pre-order all the big games and they nearly always turn up the day before or on the day at the latest. Won't be pre-ordering with Tesco again. Very large FAIL on their part.

ordered almost a month ago not arrived on release day , and the postie has been today and still no sign of it.....

Hopefully mine will arrive soon. I notice whenever I order a game, the postie usually comes past towards lunch time, whereas we often receive letters earlier.

I don't think I can face another night of disappointment!

This is awfull, I had it all planned out my schedule to play it, and what do i come home to see? Its not even here yet! I rang them up yesterday they said that TNT and Royal Mail would hopefully have with you by 8pm on the 9th. and now its the bloody 10th!

Mine didn't arrive either. A tad peeved when I went on live last night and saw that I had 7 friends playing it and I couldn't join. Though to be fair I don't remember Tesco actually making any commitment to deliver on the release date. Hopefully it will arrive today and I will be able to knife and shoot to my hearts content ;-)

Mine has just come this second from Tesco Entertainment, Im still very dissapointed though and putting in a complaint!

Post came this morning and still no game. What makes it worse is I happened to be at the door when the postie came (just about to go and get the bins in) and he sniggered and walked away! :mad:

I believe both Tesco and Royal Mail are at fault here unless something happened further up the supply chain. Tesco for not despatching early enough and RM for not pulling their fingers out and delivering within a reasonable time for first class delivery. Very grrr!
