    Good evening

Next year we are not having a real tree, it dropped every needle!

I have done nearly all of my list but I still haven't found homes for the presents. Tomorrow is going to be grocery shopping, blitzing bedrooms and sorting the kids out for school on Wednesday.

Well nothing more exciting to report so I am going to watch Eastenders!

I have never had a real Christmas tree, because one of my first jobs was in WH Smith on the Trees and Tree Trim counter.....and guess what I bought in the sales at the end of the season. It's an artificial Norway Spruce, only 3 feet high and now about 20 years old, but it doesnt look too bad in the only corner we can safely put a tree in our small living room. And it drops no needles....definitely a plus.
The kids have asked for a real one once or twice but I don't want to upset my little tree by not getting it out of its box, do I?!

Had a bad day for the moneysaving today - went to take 2 unsuitable M&S sale coats back to the shop, popped into Laura Ashley sale and they had this coat in their sale.....so I have now spent all my Christmas money. Oopsie.....still, did need a coat.

I don't have a diary - not enough time in the day what with my 3 jobs, 2 children and fed-up DH who wants to retire. don't we all....

    Hi Aloiseb

No stick with the artifical tree, they're much easier.

Well you may have spent your christmas money but at least its on something for yourself and something that you can see instead of bills or food. Enjoy it!

3 jobs that must take alot of juggling, I struggle with my 1 job, studying and 2 kids.

    Have a good day:A

DD is driving me mad with all her tale telling on her DB!

We've got the horrible white stuff back this morning, how typical is that?

Done my grocery shopping and spent £37:j My weekly budget is £64 so I am a whopping £27 under budget :j:j:jThis means that I can send off a payment of £25 to HSBC credit card and £2 can go into the treat fund:j

    I am absolutely amazed.

The bedrooms are going to be blitzed this afternoon although why I bother doing DS bedroom always baffles me, he likes to scatter his lego all over the bedroom floor, its a constant battle with him:mad:

    Hi Mummytogirls

I have just stepped into DS bedroom and its a pigsty, I am not even going to waste my time cleaning it,he can wallow in it. I've changed his bedding and that is all that I am doing. It makes me so cross:mad:

This week is pure fluke that I managed to get it so low, I have lots of bread and milk in the freezer, loads of vegetables and the freezer is quite healthy as well. I have a massive bottle of washing detergent that I bought from a cash and carry so didn't really need too much. I did go to Aldi though and got 4 bags of shopping for £27 and then needed to pop to Mr A for whatever Aldi didn't have.
I am giving Aldi a try this week and testing what I have bought and then I will use them again if the products are ok. I resisted going to Mr S and thats really helped as well. Oh I didn't buy any alcohol either as I am having an alcohol free January and again I have some left over from Christmas.

    Hope you've had a good day x:)

Oh I am sooo cross (still)

Had a rant at DS about his pigsty and now told him that he won't be getting it decorated until he starts to keep it tidier.

DD will be getting her bedroom done as hers is always tidy, I may even get my spare room done as well before I do the pigsty:mad:

On a more positive note - I have made pack ups for tomorrow, located school shoes, hats, scarves, gloves and PE kit and the kids have got their bags ready. I have also taken food out of the freezer that we will need for tomorrow night and I am also getting my study materials ready. Is this really a new super-organised me?:rotfl:

The house needs a damn good de-clutter, I may head-over to the OS board and look at the de-clutter thread. Another challenge!:D

Well done, all of you! I have yet to organise pigsty mk 3 (DS's room) in anticipation of his new bed arriving next week sometime. May have to put back the delivery as there is so much junk in there.

Twelfth Night tomorrow....so Xmas decs will also have to make their way back into the loft. Wonder if I will feel up to sorting them out this year. Last 2, it's been "oh just shove them into the boxes" with subsequent sorting out in September
Also this will mean dusting again.... Bother.

At least we shifted quite a lot of the presents hoard this year...I was ruthless. Of course people would rather get a big box of something or other rather than a W H Smith's voucher wouldn't they....

Will need space, though to "file" some of DS's stuff (once he has gone back to school on Sat night) to make room for the bed! I wish i hadn't got to work every day except Thursday now until the weekend...I'e got so used to not going in and getting tired out before doing anything useful at home. Now I already have things written on the back of my left hand (bad :eek:sign of over-full diary)

Have made new food menu with help of DH, and sticking to it will at least save thinking time. (And he can't complain cos he helped plan it...);)
