Enjoy your bath and lager, I nearly caved in and opened a bottle of wine but I will resist until the end of January!:T0 -

Thanks Mummytogirls, I think you did mention the app, I found a task list on my Blackberry so I've been using that this week.
Had a lovely bath but no snooze as DH was snoring on the settee:mad: Not only did I have to listen to it in bed last night but again this evening, he drowned out the volume on Eastenders how I resisted the urge to launch a cushion at his head I shall never know:rotfl:0 -
Thanks Boysma
I felt really guilty last night after I had had my rant at my gorgeous boy, but he had done a really good job this morning. I sometimes think I am too hard on him:(
I think we all feel like that at sometime or other. I am definitely the stricter one at home, however, anyone who meets DS2 always compliments us on his manners and how well behaved he is - and he's 13! It does pay to have discipline (at least that's my view:o)
It's freezing here this morning and i just want to crawl back into bed. This seems to have been the longest week ever.
Glad your first day back at work went well.Payment A Day £15 (started 17/5/14) :j0 -
Thanks Boysma
Thats really good that you get compliments on your DS manners. I also know that I can send my 2 to anyones house and they will behave and have nice manners so it does pay off. I also know that they always treat their friends with respect and will include anyone in their games.
There's nothing worse than getting out of bed on a cold, wet, dark morning, my DD asked me this morning at 7.30am if it would get light today bless her. Roll on summer!
I've had another busy day at work but at least I'm plowing through it although I am so easily distracted with the silly banter that goes on.
I had a quick go at calculating my DFD today and if I can manage to throw £500 a month at my debts as well as a few extra bits that I know can be repaid over the next few months we could be debt free by April 2012. I need to be realistic though as theres always something to pay for such as my car insurance which will be due in March. I want to pay this in one payment this year and not pay 24% APR just for the priviledge of paying monthly.
We would also like to save up for a ski-ing holiday next year as we are not going this year and its DH 40th birthday next year and this is his favourite pastime. DH keeps saying you never know whats going to happen we might get payrises etc. I am also going to look for some freelance work after June so all this will help as well. I just want it gone:mad:
Just transferred another £7.16 across to my VSP making £10.60 in total.
Better go and make dinner DD is complaining that she is hungry0 -
Tomorrow is going to be a shopping day, DD would like to go and spend her vouchers that she got for Christmas so we're going to have a girly shopping day. The little lady has also been dropping hints about having lunch out somewhere so we might do that as its not often that we spend the day alone.
I am also going to take my vouchers with me and see if I can find anything in the sales, I have seen a lovely top but unfortunately its not in the sale:mad:
Time for bed I am exhausted:j0 -
Have a fab day shopping, i'm stuck indoors today as DD is ill.0

Enjoy your shopping day Choogirl. DS2 is taking us shopping too as he still has vouchers and has emptied his piggy bank which he is lodging into his bank (to cover what he spent over Christmas):D
I have some vouchers too but need to be in the mood for shopping and at the minute i am really into paying off the debts - can't be a bad thing;)
DH and DS2 still in bed though and im on my fourth cuppa. Must head for a walk soon as i need to lose a stone before my hols at Easter:o At least it's free.Payment A Day £15 (started 17/5/14) :j0 -
