Thanks pennywisepoundstupid
Hope your DD is feeling better soon, there's loads of bugs going round at the moment x0 -
Enjoy your shopping day Choogirl. DS2 is taking us shopping too as he still has vouchers and has emptied his piggy bank which he is lodging into his bank (to cover what he spent over Christmas):D
I have some vouchers too but need to be in the mood for shopping and at the minute i am really into paying off the debts - can't be a bad thing;)
DH and DS2 still in bed though and im on my fourth cuppa. Must head for a walk soon as i need to lose a stone before my hols at Easter:o At least it's free.
Hi Boysma
Your DS2 sounds very sensible by re-banking his unspent money, an inspiration to us all.
Are you going anywhere nice at Easter?:)0 -
hey choogirl
just thot i would return the favour and subscribe to your diary
you're doing ever so well x x x took me a wee while to read it all x
Thanks for reading Abba1772, sorry I do tend to waffle abit, but I think my DH gets fed up of listening to me so I write my thoughts down instead x0 -

Thanks Mummytogirls
The vouchers remain unspent!
Have a good weekend x0 -
Good afternoon
Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend.
Shopping wasn't as much fun as anticipated DD spent all her money and then wanted to go home, every 2 minutes all I heard was is it time to go home yet? When are we going home?
I didn't spend my vouchers, the top that I like wasn't in stock so will have to try the shop in town when I go to work next week. I will save my Monsoon voucher for when all the Spring/Summer clothes are in store.
I resisted buying some Christian Louboutin lookalike shoes from Next although I have dropped a massive hint to DH that they would make a lovely Mothers Day present but he didn't seem to hear me.
I treated myself and DD to some nail varnish and used mu Advantage card points:D
This afternoon is going to be spent tidying the house and ironing, I don't think DH has done anything this morning:mad:0 -
I take it back DH has mopped the kitchen floor he is redeemed:o
Just started to tackle the ironing, I've put a curry in the slow cooker and it smells yummy I'm getting so hungry.
I HATE IRONING:mad::mad::mad:0 -

Well he was sensible at banking the money but then bought a magazine for nearly 4.00:eek: We had a lovely day and DH treated us to a late lunch so i dont need to cook tonight either.
Sorry your day wasn't as good as you anticipated - i hate ironing too which is why i dont do it - that is DHs job:p He sticks on the radio to listen to football and he is happy (and so am i:D).
We are going to Costa Del Sol at Easter (cheap flights and booked the apartment ourselves so all for just under 800 pounds for the 3 of us - can't wait:j DH and I made a decision a few years ago not to go mad at Christmas (for presents for each other) but put the money towards a holiday in Spring). I do like my sun:)Payment A Day £15 (started 17/5/14) :j0 -
Good Morning
Hi Boysma, The Costa Del Sol sounds lovely just whats needed after all this dreary, damp weather.
Not posted for a day or two as I've been feeling abit under the weather but feeling alot perkier and happier today.
The curry didn't work too well in my slow cooker as I used coconut milk and it all seperated next time I will make a tomato based curry.
Keep thinking about holidays myself if we didn't have one this year we could use the money for debt busting and probably be debt free in January 2012. Its only 1 year without a holiday and to be honest the house needs so much doing that we could probably spend our holidays on doing that instead of going away.
I just want to be debt free and be able to book a nice weekend or holiday away without thinking I could spend that money on repaying my debt.
Back to work otherwise I'll be losing my job and that would leave me in a bigger mess xx0 -
Hi Choogirl, hope DH did really hear and he will buy you the shoes!!
Good idea to wait for the Spring collections to come out. You will look a million dollars for the summer and it wont have cost you anything!!
Happy Monday ! xMummytogirls x0 -

The shops are still full of sale stuff and its all grey, black and boring so I will save my vouchers until all the lovely spring colours arrive in the shops:j0
