  • oh poor choogirl, what a situation to be in :(

is it unethical in the sense that it's bending the rules until next month, or is it just plain dishonest/untruthful?

i've been in both situations and really feel for you :( no harm in putting out the feelers, many people head off to pastures new before the ink is even dry on their certificates :D

good luck with whatever you decide but booooo to it being on your mind outside work hours, you've been doing enough 'extra work' over recent months as it is!

    Hi Lionheartedgirl

Its plain dishonesty, and I really disagree with it. I've decided that I'm not going to dwell on it anymore its his wrong doing and not mine, he'll get into trouble for it if he gets caught. I'm been paid by him to do the work so thats what I will do.

I'm not spending anymore time thinking or worrying about it, I've got enough of my own worries without worrying about someone elses dishonesty  He is a Billy bull******r (pardon my french) :o
  • Always the way huh, just as you think life is getting back on track, it throws you another thing to deal with!

You're doing the right thing not dwelling on it though, esp if you don't really have a choice about it..i.e he will just tell you to put up with it or get out!

And the handbag sounds nice! You'll have to put a pic up when you've bought it :) x

Oh dear my grocery budget for June was well and truly overspent :o

The main reason was the obvious - not enough attention been paid so things got missed off the list which resulted in a 2nd trip to the shop which is always a bad idea.

Right need to get this sorted, next month will be better :j

Tomorrow nights job after work is to go through both freezers, cupboards and fridges and list what we have and meal plan around what we have. Luckily its only 4 weeks between paydays so need to plan more carefully.

I'm off to do a spreadsheet and then maybe get a bath, I could do with a glass of wine though but its only Tuesday and even for me thats too early in the week

    Catch up tomorrow xx

    Good Morning

Well I slept so well last night, all the work issues were put well and truly out of my mind.

I have treated myself to a Starb**ks coffee this morning on the way into work as a nearly pay day treat, won't be a regular occurrence though but nice for a change :)

I need to do more work on our budget at the weekend, but not much point doing it yet until we see what effect DH payrise has on the monthly figure. We were thinking that it would be nice to just save the monthly increase up and use it for the many home improvements that are needed :T

The kids were driving me insane this morning fighting and bickering but nothing new there :(

We also got notification this morning that the Olympic tickets that we won are for diving so looking forward to that next year, just need to sort out some accomodation and train tickets now :T

Think thats about it from me xxx

    Good Evening

Mummytogirls - we got diving tickets
DFW - I'm regretting getting it now as I've had a stinking headache all day, posh coffee obviously no longer agrees with me, back to the instant!

I've had a better day at work today, just put my head down and got on with it, it pays the mortgage etc so I'll shut up and put up for now. However I will be on the lookout for any other opportunities that may come along and I will not be held responsible for if theres any repercussions of his crooked ways!

Not much to report tonight, just sorted the pack ups out for tomorrow, ironed a school shirt for DS, made some dinner and now going to do a shopping list.

I have a £6 voucher off a £60 shop at Mr S and a couple of vouchers to use so hopefully can keep a control on the grocery budget this month.

I have a stinking headache so will try and get an early night if possible but I want to watch The Apprentice as well.

Right I'm off to check for surveys

    Bye for now xxx

    Good Evening

I can't believe that its Friday again :T I am so glad that this week is over, I'm looking forward to a nice quiet weekend and getting caught up at home, looking forward to the weather on Sunday - will hopefully manage a BBQ :j

Just booked a hotel for Legoland over the summer holidays through Quidco so will get 5% back, not much but better than nothing. Just need to do some surveys now to save for some meals whilst down there. DS is very excited - Lego is his absolute passion :)

DH got paid today, but payrise doesn't take effect until next month :( I'm abit disappointed as I wanted to start saving for our next project but never mind, one more month won't make any difference.

Right back to my glass of white wine

    Good Morning

DS has just announced that 6 months today will be Christmas Day

Not much planned for today, just catching up with the mountain of washing which will result in a pile of ironing :(

Might see if I can persuade DH to go and look at wallpaper, carpets etc for the hall which will delight the kids :rotfl:

Hopefully if the weather stays dry I'll get out into the garden and give it a quick tidy up and maybe wash a few windows.

Better go and get started, hope everyone has a lovely day xxx
