HI choo, just had a chance to catch up with you, been a bit manic here (nothing new then lol)
Do you have a handbag in mind for the hundred quid or just gonna save up and then go look for one? My friend bought a mulberry one last month for £310  i couldn't imagine spending that much money on one lol that is my DMP payment for a month and a pizza on top lol:rotfl:
When do you hear back about your exam results...i remember i felt more nervous after sitting my final exams for my degree than i actually did sitting there at 9 months pregnant trying to complete them without going into labour :rotfl: *mental note must get priorities right*:rotfl:

Hi DFW
Thanks for popping by, I have my eye on a Radl*y handbag, I'm going to save up £100 and then see if I can get one in the sales or find an outlet store. Mulberry bags are lovely and even though I like handbags, shoes are my true weakness. I couldn't justify spending that on a handbag but shoes.................... Maybe one day when I win the lottery.
I get the results in August so its sit tight and wait, theres nothing I can do now, they're done so no point worrying. I did all the panicking, broken nights etc before them so can now relax abit.0 -

Everything sounds like its going to plan in Choo's world!!
I definately think its important to keep up with friends and also go out away from the kids with DH. You are right it is so easy to just be mum and dad and keep up with the relationship as just you 2.
Sorry ive been awol! had a mental week last week!!

Hi Mummytogirls
Thanks, it was a really good night. It was lovely getting dressed up and taking time to get ready. The party was fun and its made me realise that we should get out more.
Hope you have a calmer week xx0 -
Good Evening
Wahoo the pack ups are ready and sat in the fridge for the morning :j
I've done loads since getting home from work, all the washing is now done and dried. I wish the washing would line dry in 2 hours every day of the year
I managed to give the house a very quick tidy, just have a pile of ironing to do now  but that can wait for tomorrow evening.
I started looking at our finances tonight but was getting boggle eyed so have left that joy for tomorrow night.
Right I'm off to catch up with everyones diaries now whilst enjoying my coffee and homemade chocolate brownie.
The chocolate brownies have gone down really well with DD and DS :T so will definitely be making them again.0 -
Morning
I am not a happy work bunny this morning, my boss is wanting me to be unethical about a certain matter. I know some accountancy procedures can be manipulated to a businesses advantage and I should just think its part of the job, he's paying me to do it etc but its making me feel bad and I don't feel comfortable about it. Its making me question whether I should realistically be looking for a new job again. I might start putting a few feelers out and seeing whats around
I know it can't all be happy and enjoyable at work all the time but I vowed after working for a really nasty boss that I would never be unhappy in a job again - lifes too short! Something to think about urrgghhh just when I thought life was sorted!
On a brighter note, we needed some squash so instead of going to the supermarket after work I popped into M&S on the way into work and bought 2 bottles of Robinso*s squash which was on offer for £1.60 for 2! We also needed a few other bits and pieces so managed to get them and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't overpriced. I might use M&S abit more often if we just need 1 or 2 things as it might control the grocery budget as I'm less inclined to buy unnecessary items from M&S like I would if I went to Mr S.
Back to my unethical situation, I hate it. I like to think I have integrity and my profession certainly demands it but unfortunately not everyone has the same morals:(:(

Hello
Back home from work and still feeling pretty peeved off with it all
I know I should just push it out of my head but I just don't like the injustice/unfairness of it.
Going to work on our finances tonight and look at my options
Better go and get changed and then start making some dinner0 -
Really sorry things are pants at work, is your boss expecting all members of his staff to be dishonest, just wondering if a few of you could get together and maybe complain about your treatment, if thats an option.0
-
Thanks Pennywise
Unfortunately complaining to him, even if a few of us did it would have very little effect, he is not a person to reason with. I know that if I say anything he'll tell me what the options are - put up with it or get out. The latter sounds very appealing.0
